There will be professional developmental opportunities periodically as well as in the new teacher orientation for all new staff members. The e-mail is established for more open lines of communication between parent/teacher, teacher/student, student/administration, administration/teacher, and administrator/parent. Teachers have the ability to communicate freely with parents about the grades of their children through the use of PASS. All of this information is password protected, and safe. Students and parents will read and sign the acceptable board use policy and return it to the district office before any access to technology is allowed. By signing, the students and parents agree to abide by the districts acceptable use policies. The community has the ability to use the technology in the school, and will have the same access rights as the students. The technology will be open to the community on certain days and times that will be determined at the beginning of the school year. This will go out in the first mailings, as well as be posted on the school/district website. These date and times will be approved by both the board and community committee.
