Jason began his Insurance career in 1996 with a large national insurer before becoming an independent adjuster in 2001. Jason has a CIP designation and is currently working towards his FCIP and CRM designations.

Jason has experience with a wide array of claims including General and Product Liability, Large Residential and Commercial Property, Business Interruption, Railway/Derailment, Strata, and Transportation claims. Additionally, he has acted as a Control Adjuster on National and Regional Accounts. In August 2005 Jason was called upon to handle a major environmental loss which involved thousands of claimants. His actions directly contributed to preventing two separate Class Action Lawsuits from being certified by the Courts, by settling directly with over 95% of the claimants.
The exposure for this claim was in excess of $2 Billion and included over $100 Million in Property Damages, and more than $20 Million in Business Interruption losses. Over 90% of all claims presented were resolved directly, prior to limitation, and without litigation. Jason has most recently been in the role of Branch Director / District Manager for the same large Independent Adjusting firm he joined in 2001. Jason currently holds a Level 3 Adjusting License in British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan.
