Using a Least Common Denominator Green pg 115

This lesson strengthened my understanding of how to use least common denominator. Least common Denominator is the least common multiple of the denominators of a set of fractions. For example, the least common denominator of 1/3 and 1/4 is 12. Least common denominator is also called lowest common denominator. Even though in past years I have been taught least common denominator, in 6th grade, they practiced solving problems about least common denominator in class a lot more.
