I learned powers and exponents in this lesson. Powers are such that the number or variable times itself so many times. Ex. Y to the power of 5= Y x Y x Y x Y x Y. Exponents are numbers that indicate how many times the number is multiplied. Even though the homework was a bit challenging, I sort of enjoyed doing it… for a while. This lesson strengthened me in powers and exponents. I learned that powers and exponents are a short way to write a number that has been multiplied so many times.
