In the name of ALLAH, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful Ibrahim (peace be upon him) in The Quran __________________________________________________________

And when the Lord of Ibrahim (Abraham) tried him with Commands, which he fulfilled. He (Allah) said (to him), “Verily, I am going to make you a leader of mankind.” (Ibrahim (Abraham)) said, “And of my offspring.” (Allah) said, “My Covenant includes not Zalimoon (polytheists and wrong-doers).” [002:124] And (remember) when We made the House (the Kabah at Makkah) a place of resort for mankind and a place of safety. And take you (people) the Maqam (place) of Ibrahim (Abraham) as a place of prayer, and We commanded Ibrahim (Abraham) and Ismail (Ishmael) that they should purify My House (the Kabah at Makkah) for those who are circumambulating it, or staying (Itikaf), or bowing or prostrating themselves. [002:125] And (remember) when Ibrahim (Abraham) said, “My Lord, make this city (Makkah) a place of security and provide its people with fruits, such of them as believe in Allah and the Last Day.” He (Allah) answered: “As for him who disbelieves, I shall leave him in contentment for a while, then I shall compel him to the torment of the Fire, and worst indeed is that destination!” [002:126] And (remember) when Ibrahim (Abraham) and Ismail (Ishmael) were raising the foundations of the House (the Kabah at Makkah), (saying), “Our Lord! Accept (this service) from us. Verily! You are the All-Hearer, the All-Knower.” [002:127] “Our Lord! And make us submissive unto You and of our offspring a nation submissive unto You, and show us our Manasik (all the ceremonies of pilgrimage - Hajj and Umrah, etc.), and accept our repentance. Truly, You are the One Who accepts repentance, the Most Merciful. [002:128] “Our Lord! Send amongst them a Messenger of their own, who shall recite unto them Your Verses and instruct them in the Book (Quran) and Al-Hikmah (wisdom) and sanctify them. Verily! You are the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.” [002:129] And who turns away from the religion of Ibrahim (Abraham) except him who befools himself? Truly, We chose him in this world and verily, in the Hereafter he will be among the righteous. [002:130] When his Lord said to him, “Submit!” He said, “I have submitted myself to the Lord of the Alameen (mankind, jinns and all that exists).” [002:131] And this (submission to Allah, Islam) was enjoined by Ibrahim (Abraham) upon his sons and by Yaqoob (Jacob), (saying), “O my sons! Allah has chosen for you the (true) religion, then die not except in the Faith of Islam.” [002:132] Or were you witnesses when death approached Yaqoob (Jacob)? When he said unto his sons, “What will you worship after me?” They said, “We shall worship your Ilah (God) - the

Ilah (God) of your fathers, Ibrahim (Abraham), Ismail (Ishmael), Ishaque (Isaac), One Ilah (God), and to Him we submit (in Islam).” [002:133] That was a nation who has passed away. They shall receive the reward of what they earned and you of what you earn. And you will not be asked of what they used to do. [002:134] And they say, “Be Jews or Christians, then you will be guided.” Say, “Nay, (We follow) only the religion of Ibrahim (Abraham), Hanifa, and he was not of Al-Mushrikoon (polytheists).” [002:135] Say, “We believe in Allah and that which has been sent down to us and that which has been sent down to Ibrahim (Abraham), Ismail (Ishmael), Ishaque (Isaac), Yaqoob (Jacob), and to Al-Asbat (the twelve sons of Yaqoob (Jacob)), and that which has been given to Moosa (Moses) and Iesa (Jesus), and that which has been given to the Prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and to Him we have submitted (in Islam).” [002:136] So if they believe in the like of that which you believe, then they are rightly guided, but if they turn away, then they are only in opposition. So Allah will suffice you against them. And He is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower. [002:137] (Our Sibghah (religion) is) the Sibghah (Religion) of Allah (Islam) and which Sibghah (religion) can be better than Allahs? And we are His worshippers. [002:138] Say, “Dispute you with us about Allah while He is our Lord and your Lord? And we are to be rewarded for our deeds and you for your deeds. And we are sincere to Him in worship and obedience”. [002:139] Or say you that Ibrahim (Abraham), Ismail (Ishmael), Ishaque (Isaac), Yaqoob (Jacob) and Al-Asbat (the twelve sons of Yaqoob (Jacob)) were Jews or Christians? Say, “Do you know better or does Allah? And who is more unjust than he who conceals the testimony he has from Allah? And Allah is not unaware of what you do.” [002:140] That was a nation who has passed away. They shall receive the reward of what they earned, and you of what you earn. And you will not be asked of what they used to do. [002:141] Have you not looked at him who disputed with Ibrahim (Abraham) about his Lord (Allah), because Allah had given him the kingdom? When Ibrahim (Abraham) said (to him): “My Lord (Allah) is He Who gives life and causes death.” He said, “I give life and cause death.” Ibrahim (Abraham) said, “Verily! Allah causes the sun to rise from the east; then cause it you to rise from the west.” So the disbeliever was utterly defeated. And Allah guides not the people, who are Zalimoon (wrong-doers). [002:258] And (remember) when Ibrahim (Abraham) said, “My Lord! Show me how You give life to the dead.” He (Allah) said: “Do you not believe?” He (Ibrahim (Abraham)) said: “Yes (I believe), but to be stronger in Faith.” He said: “Take four birds, then cause them to incline towards you, and then put a portion of them on every hill, and call them, they will come to you in haste. And know that Allah is All-Mighty, All-Wise.” [002:260] ———————————————————————————————— I bear witness that there is no God except Allah and I bear witness that Muhammad (peace be upon him) is His servant and messenger

Allah chose Adam, Nooh (Noah), the family of Ibrahim (Abraham) and the family of Imran above the Alameen (mankind and jinns). [003:033] Offspring, one of the other, and Allah is the All-Hearer, All-Knower. [003:034] O people of the Scripture! Why do you dispute about Ibrahim (Abraham), while the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel were not revealed till after him? Have you then no sense? [003:065] Verily, you are those who have disputed about that of which you have knowledge. Why do you then dispute concerning that which you have no knowledge? It is Allah Who knows, and you know not. [003:066] Ibrahim (Abraham) was neither a Jew nor a Christian, but he was a true Muslim Hanifa (Islamic Monotheism) and he was not of Al-Mushrikoon (polytheists). [003:067] Verily, among mankind who have the best claim to Ibrahim (Abraham) are those who followed him, and this Prophet (Muhammad peace be upon him) and those who have believed (Muslims). And Allah is the Walee (Protector and Helper) of the believers. [003:068] Say, “We believe in Allah and in what has been sent down to us, and what was sent down to Ibrahim (Abraham), Ismail (Ishmael), Ishaque (Isaac), Yaqoob (Jacob) and Al-Asbat (the twelve sons of Yaqoob (Jacob)) and what was given to Moosa (Moses), Iesa (Jesus) and the Prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between one another among them and to Him (Allah) we have submitted (in Islam).” [003:084] And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers. [003:085] Say, “Allah has spoken the truth; follow the religion of Ibrahim (Abraham) Hanifa (Islamic Monotheism), and he was not of Al-Mushrikoon (polytheists).” [003:095] Verily, the first House (of worship) appointed for mankind was that at Bakkah (Makkah), full of blessing, and a guidance for Al-Alameen (the mankind and jinns). [003:096] In it are manifest signs, the Maqam (place) of Ibrahim (Abraham); whosoever enters it, he attains security. And Hajj (pilgrimage to Makkah) to the House (Kabah) is a duty that mankind owes to Allah, those who can afford the expenses; and whoever disbelieves, then Allah stands not in need of any of the Alameen (mankind and jinns). [003:097] ———————————————————————————————— Or do they envy men for what Allah has given them of His Bounty? Then We had already given the family of Ibrahim (Abraham) the Book and AlHikmah (knowledge, wisdom etc), and conferred upon them a great kingdom. [004:054] And who can be better in religion than one who submits his face (himself) to Allah; and he is a Muhsin (good-doer). And follows the religion of Ibrahim (Abraham) Hanifa. And Allah did take Ibrahim (Abraham) as a Khalil (an intimate friend). [004:125] Verily, We have inspired you (O Muhammad SAW) as We inspired Nooh (Noah) and the Prophets after him; We inspired Ibrahim (Abraham), Ismail (Ishmael), Ishaque (Isaac), I bear witness that there is no God except Allah and I bear witness that Muhammad (peace be upon him) is His servant and messenger

Yaqoob (Jacob), and AlAsbat (the twelve sons of Yaqoob (Jacob)), Iesa (Jesus), Ayub (Job), Yoonus (Jonah), Haroon (Aaron), and Sulaiman (Solomon), and to Dawood (David) We gave the Zaboor (Psalms). [004:163] And Messengers We have mentioned to you before, and Messengers We have not mentioned to you, - and to Moosa (Moses) Allah spoke directly. [004:164] ———————————————————————————————— And (remember) when Ibrahim (Abraham) said to his father Azar: “Do you take idols as aliha (gods)? Verily, I see you and your people in manifest error.” [006:074] Thus did we show Ibrahim (Abraham) the kingdom of the heavens and the earth that he be one of those who have Faith with certainty. [006:075] When the night covered him over with darkness he saw a star. He said: “This is my lord.” But when it set, he said: “I like not those that set.” [006:076] When he saw the moon rising up, he said: “This is my lord.” But when it set, he said: “Unless my Lord guides me, I shall surely be among the erring people.” [006:077] When he saw the sun rising up, he said: “This is my lord. This is greater.” But when it set, he said: “O my people! I am indeed free from all that you join as partners in worship with Allah. [006:078] Verily, I have turned my face towards Him Who has created the heavens and the earth Hanifa (Islamic Monotheism) and I am not of Al-Mushrikoon (polytheists) [006:079] His people disputed with him. He said: “Do you dispute with me concerning Allah while He has guided me, and I fear not those whom you associate with Allah in worship. (Nothing can happen to me) except when my Lord (Allah) wills something. My Lord comprehends in His Knowledge all things. Will you not then remember? [006:080] And how should I fear those whom you associate in worship with Allah, while you fear not that you have joined in worship with Allah things for which He has not sent down to you any authority. (So) which of the two parties has more right to be in security? If you but know.” [006:081] It is those who believe and confuse not their belief with Zulm (wrong), for them there is security and they are rightly guided. [006:082] And that was Our Proof which We gave Ibrahim (Abraham) against his people. We raise whom We will in degrees. Certainly your Lord is AllWise, AllKnowing. [006:083] And We bestowed upon him Ishaque (Isaac) and Yaqoob (Jacob), each of them We guided, and before him, We guided Nooh (Noah), and among his progeny Dawood (David), Sulaiman (Solomon), Ayub (Job), Yoosuf (Joseph), Moosa (Moses), and Haroon (Aaron). Thus do We reward the gooddoers. [006:084] And Zakariya (Zachariya), and Yahya (John) and Iesa (Jesus) and Iliyas (Elias), each one of them was of the righteous. [006:085]

And Ismail (Ishmael) and Al-Yasa (Elisha), and Yoonus (Jonah) and Lout (Lot), and each one of them We preferred above the Alameen (mankind and jinns). [006:086] And also some of their fathers and their progeny and their brethren, We chose them, and We guided them to a Straight Path. [006:087] This is the Guidance of Allah with which He guides whomsoever He will of His slaves. But if they had joined in worship others with Allah, all that they used to do would have been of no benefit to them. [006:088] They are those whom We gave the Book, AlHukm (the religious laws), and Prophethood. But if these disbelieve therein, then, indeed We have entrusted it to a people who are not disbelievers therein. [006:089] Say, “Truly, my Lord has guided me to a Straight Path, a right religion, the religion of Ibrahim (Abraham), Hanifa and he (Ibrahim (Abraham)) was not of Al-Mushrikoon (polytheists). [006:161] Say, “Verily, my Salat (prayer), my sacrifice, my living, and my dying are for Allah, the Lord of the Alameen (mankind, jinns and all that exists). [006:162] ———————————————————————————————— Has not the story reached them of those before them? - The people of Nooh (Noah), Ad, and Thamood, the people of Ibraheem (Abraham), the dwellers of Madyan (Midian) and the cities overthrown, to them came their Messengers with clear proofs. So it was not Allah Who wronged them, but they used to wrong themselves. [009:070] And (Ibraheem’s (Abraham)) invoking (of Allah) for his fathers forgiveness was only because of a promise he (Ibraheem (Abraham)) had made to him (his father). But when it became clear to him (Ibraheem (Abraham)) that he (his father) is an enemy to Allah, he dissociated himself from him. Verily Ibraheem (Abraham) was Al-Awwah (he used to invoke Allah with humility, glorify Him and remember Him much), and was forbearing. [009:114] ———————————————————————————————— And verily, there came Our Messengers to Ibraheem (Abraham) with glad tidings.They said: Salam (greetings or peace!) He answered, Salam and he hastened to entertain them with a roasted calf. [011:069] But when he saw their hands went not towards it (the meal), he felt some mistrust of them, and conceived a fear of them. They said: “Fear not, we have been sent against the people of Lout (Lot).” [011:070] And his wife was standing (there), and she laughed. But We gave her glad tidings of Ishaque (Isaac), and after him, of Yaqoob (Jacob). [011:071] She said (in astonishment): “Woe unto me! Shall I bear a child while I am an old woman, and here is my husband, an old man? Verily! This is a strange thing!” [011:072] They said: “Do you wonder at the Decree of Allah? The Mercy of Allah and His Blessings be on you, O the family (of Ibraheem (Abraham)). Surely, He (Allah) is All-Praiseworthy, AllGlorious.” [011:073] I bear witness that there is no God except Allah and I bear witness that Muhammad (peace be upon him) is His servant and messenger

Then when the fear had gone away from Ibraheem (Abraham), and the glad tidings had reached him, he began to plead with Us for the people of Lout (Lot). [011:074] Verily, Ibraheem (Abraham) was, without doubt, forbearing, used to invoke Allah with humility, and was repentant. [011:075] “O Ibraheem (Abraham)! Forsake this. Indeed, the Commandment of your Lord has gone forth. Verily, there will come a torment for them which cannot be turned back.” [011:076] ———————————————————————————————— And (remember) when Ibrahim (Abraham) said: “O my Lord! Make this city (Makkah) one of peace and security, and keep me and my sons away from worshipping idols. [014:035] “O my Lord! They have indeed led astray many among mankind. But whoso follows me, he verily is of me. And whoso disobeys me - still You are indeed Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. [014:036] “O our Lord! I have made some of my offspring to dwell in an uncultivable valley by Your Sacred House (the Kabah at Makkah); in order, O our Lord, that they may perform As-Salat (prayer), so fill some hearts among men with love towards them, and provide them with fruits so that they may give thanks. [014:037] “O our Lord! Certainly, You know what we conceal and what we reveal. Nothing on the earth or in the heaven is hidden from Allah. [014:038] “All the praises and thanks be to Allah, Who has given me in old age Ismail (Ishmael) and Ishaque (Isaac). Verily! My Lord is indeed the All-Hearer of invocations. [014:039] “O my Lord! Make me one who performs As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat), and (also) from my offspring, our Lord! And accept my invocation.. [014:040] “Our Lord! Forgive me and my parents, and the believers on the Day when the reckoning will be established.” [014:041] ———————————————————————————————— And tell them about the guests (the angels) of Ibrahim (Abraham). [015:051] When they entered unto him, and said: Salaman (peace)! (Ibrahim (Abraham)) said: “Indeed! We are afraid of you.” [015:052] They (the angels) said: “Do not be afraid! We give you glad tidings of a boy (son) possessing much knowledge and wisdom.” [015:053] (Ibrahim (Abraham)) said: “Do you give me glad tidings (of a son) when old age has overtaken me? Of what then is your news?” [015:054] They (the angels) said: “We give you glad tidings in truth. So be not of the despairing ones.” [015:055] Ibrahim (Abraham)) said: “And who despairs of the Mercy of his Lord except those who are astray?” [015:056] I bear witness that there is no God except Allah and I bear witness that Muhammad (peace be upon him) is His servant and messenger

(Ibrahim (Abraham) again) said: “What then is the business on which you have come, O Messengers?” [015:057] They (the angels) said: “We have been sent to a people who are Mujrimoon (criminals, disbelievers, polytheists, sinners). [015:058] “(All) except the family of Lout (Lot). Them all we are surely going to save. [015:059] “Except his wife, of whom We have decreed that she shall be of those who remain behind.” [015:060] ———————————————————————————————— Verily, Ibrahim (Abraham) was an Ummah (a leader or a nation), obedient to Allah, Hanifa, and he was not one of those who were Al-Mushrikoon (polytheists, idolaters). [016:120] (He was) thankful for His (Allahs) Graces. He (Allah) chose him and guided him to a Straight Path. [016:121] And We gave him good in this world, and in the Hereafter he shall be of the righteous. [016:122] Then, We have inspired you (O Muhammad SAW, saying): “Follow the religion of Ibrahim (abraham) Hanifa and he was not of the Mushrikoon (polytheists, disbelievers, etc.). [016:123] ———————————————————————————————— And mention in the Book (the Quran) Ibrahim (Abraham). Verily! He was a man of truth, a Prophet. [019:041] When he said to his father: “O my father! Why do you worship that which hears not, sees not and cannot avail you in anything? [019:042] “O my father! Verily! There has come to me of knowledge that which came not unto you. So follow me. I will guide you to a Straight Path. [019:043] “O my father! Worship not Shaitan (Satan). Verily! Shaitan (Satan) has been a rebel against the Most Beneficent (Allah). [019:044] “O my father! Verily! I fear lest a torment from the Most Beneficent (Allah) overtake you, so that you become a companion of Shaitan (Satan).” [019:045] He (the father) said: “Do you reject my gods, O Ibrahim (Abraham)? If you stop not, I will indeed stone you. So get away from me safely before I punish you.” [019:046] Ibrahim (Abraham) said: “Peace be on you! I will ask Forgiveness of my Lord for you. Verily! He is unto me, Ever Most Gracious. [019:047] “And I shall turn away from you and from those whom you invoke besides Allah. And I shall call on my Lord; and I hope that I shall not be unblest in my invocation to my Lord.” [019:048]

So when he had turned away from them and from those whom they worshipped besides Allah, We gave him Ishaque (Isaac) and Yaqoob (Jacob), and each one of them We made a Prophet. [019:049] And We gave them of Our Mercy and We granted them honour on the tongues. [019:050] Those were they unto whom Allah bestowed His Grace from among the Prophets, of the offspring of Adam, and of those whom We carried with Nooh (Noah), and of the offspring of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Israel and from among those whom We guided and chose. When the Verses of the Most Beneficent (Allah) were recited unto them, they fell down prostrating and weeping. [019:058] ———————————————————————————————— And indeed We bestowed aforetime on Ibrahim (Abraham) his (portion of) guidance, and We were Well-Acquainted with him. [021:051] When he said to his father and his people: “What are these images, to which you are devoted?” [021:052] They said:”We found our fathers worshipping them.” [021:053] He said: “Indeed you and your fathers have been in manifest error.” [021:054] They said: “Have you brought us the truth, or are you one of those who play about?” [021:055] He said: “Nay, your Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth, Who created them and of that I am one of the witnesses. [021:056] “And by Allah, I shall plot a plan (to destroy) your idols after you have gone away and turned your backs.” [021:057] So he broke them to pieces, except the biggest of them, that they might turn to it. [021:058] They said: “Who has done this to our aliha (gods)? He must indeed be one of the wrongdoers.” [021:059] They said: “We heard a young man talking (against) them who is called Ibrahim (Abraham).” [021:060] They said: “Then bring him before the eyes of the people, that they may testify.” [021:061] They said: “Are you the one who has done this to our gods, O Ibrahim (Abraham)?” [021:062] (Ibrahim (Abraham)) said: “Nay, this one, the biggest of them (idols) did it. Ask them, if they can speak!” [021:063] So they turned to themselves and said: “Verily, you are the Zalimoon (wrong-doers).” [021:064]

Then they turned to themselves (and said): “Indeed you (Ibrahim (Abraham)) know well that these (idols) speak not!” [021:065] (Ibrahim (Abraham)) said: “Do you then worship besides Allah, things that can neither profit you, nor harm you? [021:066] “Fie upon you, and upon that which you worship besides Allah! Have you then no sense?” [021:067] They said: “Burn him and help your aliha (gods), if you will be doing.” [021:068] We (Allah) said: “O fire! Be you coolness and safety for Ibrahim (Abraham)!” [021:069] And they wanted to harm him, but We made them the worst losers. [021:070] And We rescued him and Lout (Lot) to the land which We have blessed for the Alameen (mankind and jinns). [021:071] And We bestowed upon him Ishaque (Isaac), and Yaqoob (Jacob). Each one We made righteous. [021:072] And We made them leaders, guiding (mankind) by Our Command, and We inspired in them the doing of good deeds, performing Salat (prayer), and the giving of Zakat (charity) and of Us (Alone) they were worshippers. [021:073] ———————————————————————————————— And (remember) when We showed Ibrahim (Abraham) the site of the (Sacred) House (the Kabah at Makkah) (saying): “Associate not anything with Me, and sanctify My House for those who circumambulate it, and those who stand up for prayer, and those who bow and make prostration;” [022:026] And proclaim to mankind the Hajj (pilgrimage). They will come to you on foot and on every lean camel, they will come from every deep and distant (wide) mountain highway. [022:027] That they may witness things that are of benefit to them, and mention the Name of Allah on appointed days, over the beast of cattle that He has provided for them (for sacrifice). Then eat thereof and feed therewith the poor who have a very hard time. [022:028] And if they belie you (O Muhammad SAW), so were belied the Prophets before them, the people of Nooh (Noah), Ad and Thamood, [022:042] And the people of Ibrahim (Abraham) and the people of Lout (Lot) [022:043] And strive hard in Allahs Cause as you ought to strive. He has chosen you and has not laid upon you in religion any hardship, it is the religion of your father Ibrahim (Abraham). It is He (Allah) Who has named you Muslims both before and in this (the Quran), that the Messenger (Muhammad SAW) may be a witness over you and you be witnesses over mankind! So perform AsSalat (prayers), give Zakat (charity) and hold fast to Allah. He is your Maula (Patron, Lord), what an Excellent Maula and what an Excellent Helper!

[022:078] ———————————————————————————————— And recite to them the story of Ibrahim (Abraham). [026:069] When he said to his father and his people: “What do you worship?” [026:070] They said: “We worship idols, and to them we are ever devoted.” [026:071] He said: “Do they hear you, when you call (on them)? [026:072] “Or do they benefit you or do they harm (you)?” [026:073] They said: “Nay, but we found our fathers doing so.” [026:074] He said: “Do you observe that which you have been worshipping, [026:075] “You and your ancient fathers? [026:076] “Verily! They are enemies to me, save the Lord of the Alameen (mankind, jinns and all that exists); [026:077] “Who has created me, and it is He Who guides me; [026:078] “And it is He Who feeds me and gives me to drink. [026:079] “And when I am ill, it is He who cures me; [026:080] “And Who will cause me to die, and then will bring me to life; [026:081] “And Who, I hope will forgive me my faults on the Day of Recompense, [026:082] My Lord! Bestow wisdom on me, and join me with the righteous; [026:083] And grant me an honourable mention in later generations; [026:084] And make me one of the inheritors of the Paradise of Delight; [026:085] And forgive my father, verily he is of the erring; [026:086] And disgrace me not on the Day when (all the creatures) will be resurrected; [026:087] The Day whereon neither wealth nor sons will avail, [026:088] Except him who brings to Allah a clean heart. [026:089] And Paradise will be brought near to the Muttaqoon [026:090] And the (Hell) Fire will be placed in full view of the erring. [026:091] And it will be said to them: “Where are those that you used to worship [026:092] “Instead of Allah? Can they help you or help themselves?” [026:093]

Then they will be thrown on their faces into the (Fire), They and the Ghawoon (devils and those who were in error). [026:094] And the whole hosts of Iblees (Satan) together. [026:095] They will say while contending therein, [026:096] By Allah, we were truly in a manifest error, [026:097] When We held you (false gods) as equals with the Lord of the Alameen (mankind, jinns and all that exists); [026:098] And none has misled us except the Mujrimoon (criminals). [026:099] Now we have no intercessors, [026:100] Nor a close friend [026:101] (Alas!) If we only had a chance to return (to the world), we shall truly be among the believers! [026:102] Verily! In this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers. [026:103] And verily, your Lord! He is truly the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. [026:104] ———————————————————————————————— And (remember) Ibrahim (Abraham) when he said to his people: “Worship Allah (alone), and fear Him, that is better for you if you did but know. [029:016] “You worship besides Allah only idols, and you only invent falsehood. Verily, those whom you worship besides Allah have no power to give you provision, so seek your provision from Allah (Alone), and worship Him (Alone), and be grateful to Him. To Him (Alone) you will be brought back. [029:017] “And if you deny, then nations before you have denied. And the duty of the Messenger is only to convey (the Message) plainly.” [029:018] See they not how Allah originates creation, then repeats it. Verily, that is easy for Allah. [029:019] Say: “Travel in the land and see how (Allah) originated creation, and then Allah will bring forth the creation of the Hereafter. Verily, Allah is Able to do all things.” [029:020] He punishes whom He will, and shows mercy to whom He will, and to Him you will be returned. [029:021] And you cannot escape in the earth or in the heaven. And besides Allah you have neither any Walee (Protector or Guardian) nor any Helper. [029:022] And those who disbelieve in the Ayat (evidences, signs, verses etc.) of Allah and the Meeting with Him, it is they who have no hope of My Mercy, and it is they who will have a painful torment. [029:023] I bear witness that there is no God except Allah and I bear witness that Muhammad (peace be upon him) is His servant and messenger

So nothing was the answer of (Ibraheem’s (Abraham)) people except that they said: “Kill him or burn him.” Then Allah saved him from the fire. Verily, in this are indeed signs for a people who believe. [029:024] And (Ibrahim (Abraham)) said: “You have taken idols instead of Allah, and the love between you is only in the life of this world, but on the Day of Resurrection, you shall disown each other, and curse each other, and your abode will be the Fire, and you shall have no helper.” [029:025] So Lout (Lot) believed in him (Ibrahim (Abraham)). He (Ibrahim (Abraham)) said: “I will emigrate for the sake of my Lord. Verily, He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.” [029:026] And We bestowed on him (Ibrahim (Abraham)), Ishaque (Isaac) and Yaqoob (Jacob), and ordained among his offspring Prophethood and the Book, and We granted him his reward in this world, and verily, in the Hereafter he is indeed among the righteous. [029:027] And when Our Messengers came to Ibrahim (Abraham) with the glad tidings they said: “Verily, we are going to destroy the people of this (Lout’s (Lot)) town truly, its people have been Zalimoon. [029:031] Ibrahim (Abraham) said: “But there is Lout (Lot) in it.” They said:”We know better who is there, we will verily save him (Lout (Lot)) and his family, except his wife, she will be of those who remain behind. [029:032] ———————————————————————————————— And (remember) when We took from the Prophets their covenant, and from you (O Muhammad SAW), and from Nooh (Noah), Ibrahim (Abraham), Moosa (Moses), and Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary). We took from them a strong covenant. [033:007] ———————————————————————————————— And, verily, among those who followed his (Noohs (Noah)) way was Ibrahim (Abraham). [037:083] When he came to his Lord with a pure heart [037:084] When he said to his father and to his people: “What is it that which you worship? [037:085] “Is it a falsehood aliha (gods) other than Allah that you seek? [037:086] “Then what do you think about the Lord of the Alameen (mankind, jinns, and all that exists)?” [037:087] Then he cast a glance at the stars [037:088] And he said: “Verily, I am sick [037:089] So they turned away from him, and departed [037:090] Then he turned to their aliha (gods) and said: “Will you not eat? [037:091] “What is the matter with you that you speak not?” [037:092]

Then he turned upon them, striking with right hand. [037:093] Then they (the worshippers of idols) came, towards him, hastening. [037:094] He said: “Worship you that which you (yourselves) carve? [037:095] “While Allah has created you and what you make!” [037:096] They said: “Build for him a building (furnace) and throw him into the blazing fire!” [037:097] So they plotted a plot against him, but We made them the lowest. [037:098] And he said: “Verily, I am going to my Lord. He will guide me!” [037:099] “My Lord! Grant me (offspring) from the righteous.” [037:100] So We gave him the glad tidings of a forbearing boy. [037:101] And, when he (his son) was old enough to walk with him, he said: “O my son! I have seen in a dream that I am sacrificing you. so look what you think!” He said: “O my father! Do that which you are commanded, if Allah wills, you shall find me of As-Sabirin (the patient ones, etc.).” [037:102] Then, when they had both submitted themselves, and he had laid him prostrate on his forehead [037:103] And We called out to him: “O Ibrahim (Abraham)! [037:104] You have fulfilled the dream (vision)!” Verily! Thus do We reward the Muhsinoon (gooddoers). [037:105] Verily, that indeed was a manifest trial. [037:106] And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice. [037:107] And We left for him among generations in later times. [037:108] Salamun (peace) be upon Ibrahim (Abraham)!” [037:109] Thus indeed do We reward the Muhsinoon (good-doers) [037:110] Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. [037:111] And We gave him the glad tidings of Ishaque (Isaac) a Prophet from the righteous. [037:112] We blessed him and Ishaque (Isaac), and of their progeny are (some) that do right, and some that plainly wrong themselves. [037:113] ———————————————————————————————— And remember Our slaves, Ibrahim (Abraham), Ishaque (Isaac), and Yaqoob (Jacob), owners of strength and of religious understanding. [038:045] I bear witness that there is no God except Allah and I bear witness that Muhammad (peace be upon him) is His servant and messenger

Verily, We did choose them by granting them the remembrance of the home (Hereafter). [038:046] And they are with Us, verily, of the chosen and the best! [038:047] And remember Ismail (Ishmael), AlYasaa (Elisha), and Dhul-Kifl (Isaiah), all are among the best. [038:048]
