A Pythagorean Theorem Proof Proof:
A logical statement which establishes the truth of a general statement, axiom, or proposition.
Caution:
Using a specific size triangle (like 3-4-5) and showing that it works for that triangle does not prove that it works for all right triangles. You must show it works in all cases. You can not use the Pythagorean Theorem to prove the Pythagorean Theorem. Your proof will likely include pictures or diagrams. You must also demonstrate your proof symbolically.
