753rd Railway Shop Battalion

Memorabilia from the 753rd Railway Shop Battalion of the United States Army. Included is the second overseas anniversary pamphlet from their celebration dated Tuesday Dec 12, 1944. There are 49 photos of this battalion overseas in what appears to be ITALY. There is even a photo of the army's basketball team which is highlighted in the program as "company B versus company C. There are many wonderful photos of just about everything from their football game (753rd IRONHORSEMEN), railway train shops, some fellow with some really cute girls, local scenery, men at Church, harbor full of battle ships, bombed out buildings, anniversary celebration etc.
