5 THEMES OF GEOGRAPHY If this is not finished in class, then it MUST be completed for homework.
1. Imagine that you are a newspaper reporter. An important discovery of a lost civilization has been made, and you have the chance to be the first person to interview the returning explorers. Make a list of the questions that you may ask. But remember you must use the five themes and ask the most important questions from each theme. Be sure to include the following: ♦ For each of the five themes you must construct three or four questions (for a total 15-20 questions) you would ask. ♦ All questions must be phrased so that they can be answered with a “yes” or “no.” For example: (Absolute location) Is this new civilization located at 30 North and 20 West? (Region) Is this civilization located in a region with a dry climate? ♦ You do not have to answer the questions.
