Write adjectives in bubble map to describe a busy city. 2. Write a descriptive essay by completing a descriptive essay template.

Warm-up & presentation Teacher displays a scene of a busy city on the board. Students to jot down words that convey what they visualize, hear, see or experience in their imagination. Teacher explains the sensory words used to describe a place. Teacher explains on how to use bubble map to record the adjectives found.

Practice Students will be given a bubble map to complete. Students work with partner. Teacher monitors the activity.

Production & Closure Teacher explains the format and how to transfer the information into a descriptive essays. Teacher provides a template of descriptive essay for the students to work on. Teacher recap the lesson by having students recall the step by step of writing descriptive essay.
