Thirty Third Sunday in Ordinary Time

November: The Month of Remembrance The month of November is dedicated to commemorating our loved ones who have died in the Lord. The shrine of St. Joseph in our church will be suitably decorated for the month of November. The Book of the Dead will be available to receive the names of our dearly departed. All Souls Day envelopes will be available throughout the month of November for those who wish to have their loved ones remembered at the Eucharist.

ShareLife 2010 Dear Parishioners We all had the pleasure of recently witnessing the installation of members of the Pastor’s Advisory Council. Two of the mandates within that Council are: building community and strengthening communications in the Parish. Your ShareLife Committee will also try to fulfill these mandates, but we need your help. The ShareLife Committee is planning a few events to raise funds for our Catholic Charities, our seminaries, and third world development for a number of reasons: 1. To help our neighbours both at home and abroad through these tough times. 2. To support our seminarians, deacons, and priests in their continued religious development. 3. To build community spirit in the parish (Together we can all help.). By getting more people involved and making the parish more aware of ShareLife and what it stands for, we hope to meet our communications goal. The ShareLife Committee will relate to the parish what we are doing and keep everyone up to date throughout the coming year. If you are interested in joining us, please sign up at the back of the church or contact the Parish Office at 416-2316016. You can also send us an e-mail at [email protected] Thank You, The OLS ShareLife Committee

The fund supports the needs of retired clergy in the Catholic Archdiocese of Toronto who have served our family of faith for many years.
