1st Year Performance Quiz Rubric

Performance Quiz Grading Rubric: 4 = Natural speed, good pronunciation, situation is successfully dealt with, culturally appropriate language and behavior. Would not cause discomfort to a native speaker (in terms of what we’ve covered). 3 = Situation is successfully dealt with. However, speed/pronunciation may cause some discomfort to a native speaker. 2.5 = Situation is successfully dealt with. However, cultural appropriateness (and/or speed/pronunciation) may cause discomfort to a native speaker/a rudeness was committed. 2 = Situation is not successfully dealt with (miscommunication). 1 = No communication (didn’t say or do anything). 0 = Absent.
