Introduction: This site will provide students with mastery and recognition of the basic sight words. Also, they will build reading fluency and reading skills. Here, students will learn how to put sight words into sentences and find sight words in puzzles. Finally, students will also learn what sight words are and how to recognize and spell them, as well.

The Process:
To accomplish sight words the students must be able to recognize, spell, pronounce, and use in complete sentences. Also, must be able to create an educational activity using sight words. 1. In this site kids who learn these words have a good base for beginning reading. The Dolch Words Lists and the Sight Word Box. Here, students will learn what sight words are and how to pronounce them. Also, students will need to know how to spell all the basic sight words. 2. This site kids will need to know how to spell the sight words. Spelling Basic Sight Words here you will develop good teaching techniques about basic sight words. Also, if you want to design a lesson for students who are having difficulty remembering spelling sight words, then you will find some good techniques and strategies here. 3. This site will help build reading fluency Davis Learning Strategies. Also, help kids ages 5-9 to focus on learning tasks. Provides mastery and recognition of basic sight words and build reading comprehension skills. 4. In this site you can learn how to design sight word lessons. Reading Lessons here, you will build students reading skills and students will learn how to find main ideas in reading story. This will also build the students reading comprehension skills. 5. This site Words Search Puzzles students will learn how to find sight words in puzzles. Here students will put sight words in sentences. Also, students will create their own sight word puzzles.

Conclusion: Students should be able to recognize, spell, pronounce, and use sight words in complete sentences once they get to the end of this assignment. Also students should be able to create their own sight word activity.

Teacher Advice: This lesson is design for first and second grade level students. Also, this course is designed to cover recognizing sight words, spelling, pronunciation, and be able to use sight words in a sentence. For example: This lesson is design to enhance students knowledge of basic sight words and geared toward improving reading skills. Prior to this lesson the students will need to know what sight words are, how to pronounce, spell, and use in a sentence correctly. This lesson can be design as a unit lesson plan so it can cover a week or a semester. This can be integrated as an interdisciplinary project. When dealing with sight words, a teacher has to be prepared to teach it to students who can and can not read, so therefore, the students can make this process easy or hard this is determine by the teacher and the students. This lesson can be done in class as an in-class assignment or with a group.
This lesson can be done with one or more teachers. Also, the teacher can use flash cards to give to the students to take home to practice with. Can refer back to the WebQuest for Internet address above in the process section.
