NISER has been set up by the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India to impart high-quality science education in a vibrant academic ambience with a faculty of distinguished scientists and teachers. NISER offers 5-year integrated M.Sc. Programme in biological, chemical, mathematical and physical sciences. At present, NISER functions from the beautiful campus of Institute of Physics, Bhubaneswar, a renowned Institute with state-of-art infrastructure that includes an excellent library, a large computer center and a number of research laboratories. Candidates those who have no minimum physical standard as prescribed above should not apply for the prescribed post. No physically handicapped candidates shall be eligible for appointment as per Rule. 7. All the candidates shall have valid registration certificate in the Employment Exchange of the district of Keonjhar. 8. IMPORTANT DATES : (i) Last date of submission of application form duly filled in by the candidate in his/her own hand writting - 29.01.2009. (ii) The physical measurement shall be conducted on 05.02.2009 from 8.30AM to 5PM at Divisional Office campus Anandapur and Physically qualified candidates will be issued admit card. (iii) Date of written examination : 15.02.2009 (Sunday). The written test will be conducted in two subjects i.e. Oriya Language and Mathematics. Each of one hour duration of class IX standard carrying 25 marks each. 9. The candidate successful in the written test will have to undergo physical test in which a male candidate has to complete “25 Kms. walk” within a qualifying time of 4 hours and “1.6 Kms. cycling” within qualifying time of 5 minutes and a female candidate has to complete “16 Kms. walks” within a qualifying time of 4 hours and “1.6 Kms.” cycling within qualifying time of 10 Minutes. 10. The other eligibility criteria can be ascertained from the Office Notice Board of this Office and all the Range Offices under this division.
