Property Storage Contract

This contract for Storage Services, is made by and between (Name of Individual or business "Owner", located at: _____ ) and (Name of Individual or business "Bailee", located at: _____ ) on (specify date). WHEREAS, the parties desire that Bailee provide storage services for Owner with respect to the following property ("Property", specify items); and WHEREAS, Bailee accepts such responsibilities and agrees to perform such duties as specified herein; NOW, THEREFORE, FOR VALUABLE CONSIDERATION SET FORTH HEREIN, THE PARTIES AGREE AS FOLLOWS: 1. This Agreement will commence on (specify date). 2. The Bailee agrees to render the following services: (specify in detail, including storage, maintenance of property, repairs, etc.). 3. The subject Property will be stored at (specify location). Bailee has inspected the Property prior to storing same and states that such Property is in good condition (with the exception of: specify). 4. The Bailee agrees to exercise reasonable care to protect the Property from theft or damage and shall maintain adequate insurance in the face amount of no less than $X to protect Owner from any loss or damage caused by Bailee's negligence. At all times during this Agreement shall title in the Property remain with Owner. 5. Bailee will be paid a monthly fee of $X. 6. This Agreement will have an initial term of X months. Thereafter, Owner can terminate this Agreement at any time upon X days prior written notice. Owner will make any last payment prior to retrieving said Property. Bailee agrees to return all Property in the same condition as such Property was received. In the event the Property is not received in such similar condition (state the penalty). 7. If Owner fails to pay for and/or retrieve the Property after the expiration of the original X month term, Bailee can (specify, such as store the Property and charge $X per month, deem the Property to be abandoned, sell it, and reimburse Owner for the difference of the net receipts of sale less what was due Bailee, etc.). 8. This Agreement supersedes all prior agreements and understandings and may only be modified in writing and signed by both parties. This Agreement is in force when signed below. 9. This Agreement cannot be assigned without the prior consent of Owner. 10.
