verily We shall not suffer to perish the reward of any who do a (single) righteous deed.
(The Cave) In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful &١$ 1.
ََ ِ ُ َ َْ َْب َو َ ََِْ"ْ ُ ِ ِ ا !ِي أَ َ َل ََ َْ ِ ِ ا#ْا
Praise be to Allah, Who hath sent to His Servant the Book, and hath allowed therein no Crookedness:
ُ ُْ 'ًِ *ًَِا ﻡ+ْ,َ ِ! َر ﺏ/ُ01 ً"10َ2 2.
(He hath made it) Straight (and Clear) in order that He may warn (the godless) of a terrible Punishment from Him,
&٢$
ً/َ3ًَا ﺡ5ُْْ َأ6َ ن
ت َأ ِ َ#ِ 9ن ا َ َُ"ْ َ ' َ ِ! ' ا َ 0ِ/ِْﻡ:ُ"ْ ا5َ 1;ََُو
and that He may give Glad Tidings to the Believers who work righteous deeds, that they shall have a goodly Reward.
&٣$ 3.
Wherein they shall remain forever:
&٤$ 4.
ِ َأﺏًَا0ِ= ' َ 0ِ>ِﻡَآ
َ َ! ا ُ َوًَاA َُا اﺕ2 ' َ ِ! ِ! َر ا/َُو
Further, that He may warn those (also) who say, "Allah hath begotten a son":
ِْ6ِDَﺏEِ َُ ﺏِ ِ ﻡِ'ْ ِْ ٍ َو6َ ﻡ 5.
No knowledge have they of such a thing, nor had their fathers.
ِْ6ِج ﻡِ'ْ َأ=َْاه ُ 5ُ ْAَ ﺕIً َ"َِتْ آ5َ َُآ It is a grievous thing that issues from their mouths as a saying.

ًن ِإ آَ ِ!ﺏ َ ُُKَ إِن
What they say is nothing but falsehood!
&٦$
ًOَ+ َأP ِ َِ#َْ!َا ا6ُِا ﺏ/ِْﻡ:ُ ْ ﺙَ ِرهِْ إِنR ََ N َ َ3ْO ٌTِ ﺏَﺥN َ َ ََ=
6. Thou wouldst only, perchance, fret thyself to death, following after them, in grief, if they believe not in this Message.
&٧$ 7.
ًَ"َ ' ُ َ3ُْْ َأﺡ6Xَُْ َهُْ َأ/ِ َ6 Iً َ/ِض ز ِ َْر,َْ ﻡَ ََ ا/َْ َ ِإ
That which is on earth We have made but as a glittering show for the earth, in order that We may test them -- as to which of them are best in conduct.
ًزا5ُ ُ ًا0ِ ََ ﺹ6ْ0ََ َن ﻡ َ ََُِ َوِإ
&٨$ 8.
Verily what is on earth We shall make but as dust and dry soil (without growth or herbage).
&٩$ 9.
ًََ َ/َِﺕR ْ'ِ ِ آَُا ﻡ0ِ25 \ وَا ِ ْ6َْب ا َ َ#ْن َأﺹ
] َأ َ ِْ3ََأمْ ﺡ
Or dost thou reflect that the Companions of the Cave and of the Inscription were wonders among Our Signs?
َُاKَ= \ ِ ْ6َْ ِإَ اIُ َ0ِْOِْإذْ َأوَى ا 10. Behold, the youths betook themselves to the Cave: they said,
&١٠$
َ َر*ًَا5ِ َْ ﻡِ'ْ َأﻡ/َ ْb10َ َوهIً َ"ْ َرﺡN َ ُ 'َِ ﻡ/ِﺕR َ/ َرﺏ
"Our Lord! bestow on us Mercy from Thyself, and dispose of our affair for us in the right way!
&١١$
' َ َدًا َ 0ِ/ِ+ \ ِ ْ6َْ اeِ= ِْ6ِذَاR ََ َ/ْﺏ5َ َfَ=
11. Then We drew (a veil) over their ears, for a number of years, in the cave, (so that they heard not):
&١٢$
َ ِ"َ َِ>ُا َأﻡًَا9ْ' َأﺡ ِ ْ0َِْﺏ#ْي ا X َ ََْ َأ/ِ َُْه/ْ>َ َﺙُ ﺏ
12. Then We roused them, in order to test which of the two parties was best at calculating the term of years they had tarried!
h 1 َ#َِْهُ ﺏ,ََ N َ ْ0ََ g X ُKَ ' ُ ْ#َ 13. We relate to thee their story in truth:
&١٣$
ِْ َو ِزدَْهُْ هًُى61ﺏ5َ ُِا ﺏ/َﻡR ٌIَ0ِْ= ُْ6 ِإ
they were youths who believed in their Lord, and We advanced them in guidance:
َُاKَ= َﻡُا2 ِْْ ِإذ6ُُِﺏ2 ََ َ/ْiََو َرﺏ 14. We gave strength to their hearts: Behold, they stood up and said:
ً6َض َ' ُْ َ ﻡِ' دُوِ ِ ِإ ِ َْر,ْت وَا ِ "َوَا3ب ا X َ َر/Xَرﺏ "Our Lord is the Lord of the heavens and of the earth: never shall we call upon any god other than Him:
&١٤$
ًiَiَ* َ ِإذًا/ُْ2 َْKَ
if we did; we should indeed have uttered an enormity!"
Iً َ6ِR ِ َِ!ُوا ﻡِ' دُوA َ اﺕ/َُْﻡ2 َء:ُ َه 15. "These our people have taken for worship gods other than Him:

' ٍ 10َن ﺏ ٍ َiُْ3ِِ ﺏ6ْ0ََ ن َ ُْﺕ,َ َْ why do they not bring forward an authority clear (and convincing) for what they do?
ًَى ََ ا ِ آَ ِ!ﺏ5َْ=' ا ِ "َِْ ُ ﻡk=َ"َ'ْ َأ
&١٥$
Who doth more wrong than such as invent a falsehood against Allah?
\ ِ ْ6َْْوُوا ِإَ ا,َ= َ ن ِإ ا َ َوِإ ِذ اَْ َُْ"ُهُْ َوﻡَ َ ُُْو 16. "When ye turn away from them and the things they worship other than Allah betake yourselves to the Cave:
&١٦$
ًKَ=ْ51آُ ﻡ5ِ ْ'ْ َأﻡ1ْ َُ ﻡb10َ6ُ' ر ﺡ" و1ُ ﻡXْ َُْ َرﺏ5ُ;/َ
your Lord will shower His mercies on you and dispose of your affair towards comfort and ease."
' ِ 0ِ"َ0ْت ا َ ِْ ذَا6ِOْ6َََ َ] ﺕ َا َو ُر َ' آl ِإذَاm َ ْ" ;َى ا5ََوﺕ 17. Thou wouldst have seen the sun, when it rose, declining to the right from their Cave,
"َ ِل1;ت ا َ ُْ ذَا6ُﺽ5ِ ْK ﺏَ] ﺕ5َ َn َوِإذَا and when it set, turning away from them to the left,
ُ ْ/1 =َْ َ ٍة ﻡeِ= َُْوه while they lay in the open space in the midst of the Cave.
ِ ت ا ِ َR ْ'ِ ﻡN َ َِذ Such are among the Signs of Allah:
َِْي6ُ"ُْ َ ا6َ= ُ ْ ِ ا6َ 'َﻡ he whom Allah guides is rightly guided;
&١٧$
ْ*ًِا5X ﻡq0ِِْ ْ =ََ' ﺕَِ َ َ ُ َوfُ 'ََوﻡ
but he whom Allah leaves to stray -- for him wilt thou find no protector to lead him to the Right Way.
ٌُد2ً َوهُْ ُرkَKُْْ َأ6َُ3ْ#ََوﺕ 18. Thou wouldst have deemed them awake, whilst they were asleep,
"َ ِل1;ت ا َ ' َوذَا ِ 0ِ"َ0ْت ا َ ُْ ذَا6ُ1َKَُو and We turned them on their right and their left sides:
ِ 0ِْ ِ ﺏِْ َﺹ0ٌَ ِذرَاrِ+َُ ﺏ6ََُْوآ their dog stretching forth his two forelegs on the threshold:
&١٨$
ًُْْ ُر6ْ/ِ] ﻡ َ ْsُِ"ََارًا َو5ِ= ُْ6ْ/ِ] ﻡ َ ْ0 َ َ ِْ6ْ0ََ ] َ ْ َ lَ ِ ا
if thou hadst come up on to them, thou wouldst have certainly turned back from them in flight, and wouldst certainly have been filled with terror of them.

ُْ6َ/ْ0ََءُا ﺏ3ََ0ِ َُْه/ْ>َ َ ﺏN َ ِ!َ ََوآ 19. Such (being their state), We raised them up (from sleep) that they might question each other.
ُْْ>َِ َُْْ آ6ْ/1ِ ٌ ﻡDَ2 َ َل2 Said one of them, "How long have ye stayed (here)?"
َْ ٍمt َ ْ ََ َْﻡً َأوْ ﺏ/ْ>َِ َُا2 They said, "We have stayed (perhaps) a day, or part of a day."
ُْْ>َِ َ"ُِْ َأَْ ُ ﺏXَُا َرﺏ2 (At length) they (all) said, "Allah (alone) knows best how long ye have stayed here...
Iِ َ/َِ"ُِْْ هَ ِ! ِ ِإَ ا2=َﺏْ َ>ُا َأﺡَ َآُ ﺏِ َ ِر Now send ye then one of you with this money of yours to the town:
ُ ْ/1ق ﻡ ٍ ْز5ِ ِْﺕُِ ﺏ,َ0َْ= ًَ َﻡl ََ َأزْآ6Xْ َأ5ُv/َ0َْ= let him find out which is the best food (to be had) and bring some to you, that (ye may) satisfy hunger herewith:
&١٩$
ن ﺏُِْ َأﺡًَا
5َ ِ ْ;ُ َ \ْ َوiَََ0َْو
and let him behave with care and courtesy, and let him not inform anyone about you.
ِْ6ِ ِ ﻡeِ= ُُْوآ0ِ ُ ُْْ"ُآُْ َأو5َ ُْْ0ََ ُوا5َ6ْvَ ُْ إِن6 ِإ 20. "For if thy should come upon you, they would stone you or force you to return to their cult,
&٢٠$
ُا ِإذًا َأﺏًَا#ِْOَُوَ' ﺕ
and in that case ye would never attain prosperity."
h w َن َوْ َ ا ِ ﺡ
َ َْ"ُا َأ0ِ ِْ6ْ0ََ َْ5َ>ْ َأN َ ِ!َ ََوآ 21. Thus did We make their case known to the people, that they might know that the promise of Allah is true,
َ60ِ= x َ ْ َ َرIَ َ 3ن ا
َوَأ and that there can be no doubt about the Hour of Judgment.
ُْه5َ ُْْ َأﻡ6َ/ْ0َن ﺏ َ َُ َز/ََ ِْإذ Behold they dispute among themselves as to their affair.
ًَ0ْ/ُِ ﺏ6ْ0ََ ُا/َُْا اﺏKَ= (Some) said, "Construct a building over them":
ِْ6ُِْ َأَْ ُ ﺏ6X رﺏ their Lord knows best about them:

ًِْا3 ِ ﻡ6ْ0ََ ن
!َ ِA َ/َ ِْه5ِ ََُْا ََ َأﻡn ' َ !ِ َ َل ا2
those who prevailed over their affair said, "Let us surely build a place of worship over them."
ُْ6َُُْْ آ6ُ ٌِ ر اﺏIَن ﺙََﺙ َ ُُKَ0َ+ 22. (Some) say they were three, the dog being the fourth among them;
x ِ ْ0َyُِْْ َرْ"ً ﺏ6َُُْْ آ6ُ+َ ِد+ ٌIَ3ْ"َن ﺥ َ ُُKََو (others) say they were five, the dog being the sixth -- doubtfully guessing at the unknown;
ُْ6َُُْْ آ6ُ/ٌِ َوﺙَﻡIَ َْ+ ن َ ُُKََو (yet others) say they were seven, the dog being the eighth.
ٌ 0َِ2 ُْ ِإ6ُ"َْ َ ِ ﻡ6ِ أََْ ُ ﺏِ ِ ﺕe1ُ رﺏ2 Say thou: "My Lord knoweth best their number; it is but few that know their (real case)."
&٢٢$
ُْ َأﺡًَا6ْ/1ِ ﻡ60ِ= ] ِ ْOَْ3ًَا َوَ ﺕ5َِهk َاء5ِِْ ِإ ﻡ60ِ= =ََ ﺕُ"َ ِر
Enter not, therefore, into controversies concerning them, except on a matter that is clear, nor consult any of them about (the affair of) the Sleepers.
&٢٣$
ًَاn N َ ِ =َِ ٌ َذe1ْ ٍء ِإeَ;ِ '
َُKََوَ ﺕ
23. Nor say of anything, "I shall be sure to do so and so tomorrow" --
ُ ِإ أَن َ;َء ا 24. Without adding, "So please Allah!"
] َ 0ِ3َ ِإذَاN َ رﺏ5ُوَاذْآ And call thy Lord to mind when thou forgettest,
&٢٤$
ب ﻡِ'ْ هَ!َا َر*ًَا َ 5َ ْ2َ,ِ e1' َرﺏ ِ َِ ْ6َ َ أَن3َ ْ ُ2َو
and say, "I hope that my Lord will guide me ever closer (even) than this to the right road."
&٢٥$
ً ْ3ِ' وَازْدَادُوا ﺕ َ 0ِ/ِ+ Iٍ َDِث ﻡ َ ََِْ ﺙ6ِOْ6َ آeِ= َوَِ>ُا
25. So they stayed in their Cave three hundred years, and (some) add nine (more).
ُ ِ ا ُ َأَْ ُ ﺏِ"َ َِ>ُا2 26. Say: "Allah knows best how long they stayed:
ض ِ َْر,ْت وَا ِ "َوَا3 اx ُ ْ0َn ُ َ with Him is (the knowledge of) the secrets of the heavens and the earth:
ْTِ"ْ+ْ ﺏِ ِ َوَأ5ِ9َْأﺏ how clearly He sees, how finely He hears (everything)!

ﺡُْ"ِ ِ َأﺡًَاeِ= ك ُ 5ِ ْ;ُ َ َوe | ِ' دُوِ ِ ﻡِ' َو1ُ ﻡ6َ َﻡ
They have no protector other than Him; nor does He share His Command with any person whatsoever.
N َ 1ب َرﺏ ِ َِ ﻡِ' آN َ ْ0َ ِإe َ ِوَاﺕْ ُ ﻡَ أُوﺡ 27. And recite (and teach) what has been revealed to thee of the Book of thy Lord:
&٢٧$
ًَا#َُْ َل َِِ"َﺕِ ِ َوَ' ﺕَِ َ ﻡِ' دُوِ ِ ﻡ1 ََُ ﻡ
none can change His Words, and none wilt thou find as a refuge other than Him.
ُ َ6ْن َو َ ُِو5ُ e 1 ِ;َ ََْا ِة وَاyُِْ ﺏ6 ن َرﺏ َ َُْ ' َ ِ! اTَ َ ﻡN َ َ3ْOَ ْ5ِْوَاﺹ 28. And keep thy soul content with those who call on their Lord morning and evening, seeking his Face;
َ0ْX َ ِة ا0َ#ْ اIَ َ/ِِ ُ ز5ُُْ ﺕ6ْ/َ ك َ َ/ْ0َ ُ ْ ََوَ ﺕ and let not thine eyes pass beyond them, seeking the pomp and glitter of this Life;
َ5ِ ََْْ ُ َ' ِذآ2 َ/َْOْnْ ﻡَ'ْ َأTِiَُوَ ﺕ nor obey any whose heart We have permitted to neglect the remembrance of Us,
&٢٨$
ًl5ُ ُ= ُ 5ُ ْن َأﻡ َ َ هَ َا ُ َوآTَ َ وَاﺕ
one who follows his own desires, whose case has gone beyond all bounds.
ُْ1 ﻡِ' رﺏh X َ#ُْ ِ ا2َو 29. Say, "The Truth is from your Lord":
ْ5ُOَْ0َْ= ْﻡِ' َوﻡَ' *َء:ُ0َْ= =َ"َ' *َء let him who will, believe, and let him who will, reject (it):
َ6ُ2َا ِد5ُ+ ِْ6ِ' َرًا َأﺡَطَ ﺏ َ 0ِ"ِ vِ ََِْْإ َأ for the wrongdoers We have prepared a Fire whose (smoke and flames), like the wall and roof of a tent, will hem them in:
َ ُُ ْْ ِ َ;ِْي ا6ُ"ََْﺙُا ﺏِ"َء آyُ >ُا0ِyَْ3َ َوإِن if they implore relief they will be granted water like melted brass that will scald their faces.
&٢٩$
ًKَOَْﺕ5َُءتْ ﻡ+ب َو ُ َا5 ; اm َ ْsِﺏ
How dreadful the drink! How uncomfortable a couch to recline on!

ًَ"َ ' َ َ3ْ ﻡَ'ْ َأﺡ5َ ْ َأTُ 0ِfُ َ ت ِإ ِ َ#ِ 9ُا َوَ"ُِا ا/َﻡR ' َ ِ! ن ا
ِإ
30. As to those who believe and work righteousness, verily We shall not suffer to perish the reward of any who do a (single) righteous deed.
َ ُر6َْ,ِْ ُ ا6ِْ#َِي ﻡِ' ﺕ5َْن ﺕ ٍ َْ ت ُ /َ ُْ6َ N َ ِsَُْأو 31. For them will be Gardens of Eternity; beneath them rivers will flow;
ق ٍ 5َ َْْ+س َوِإ ٍ ُ /ُ+ '1ًا ﻡ5ْfَُﺏً ﺥ0ِن ﺙ َ ُ3ََْ َوx ٍ ََ ِو َر ﻡِ' َذه+َ ﻡِ'ْ َأ60ِ= ن َ ْ َ#ُ they will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold, and they will wear green garments of fine silk and heavy brocade;
N ِ ِDَرَا,َْ ََ ا60ِ= ' َ 0ِsِ Xﻡ they will recline therein on raised thrones.
&٣١$
ًKَOَْﺕ5َُ]ْ ﻡ/ُ3َب َوﺡ ُ ِ ْ َ ا> َا
How good the recompense! How beautiful a couch to recline on!
' ِ ْ0َُُ ﻡ >ًَ ر6َ ْب5ِ ْوَاﺽ 32. Set forth to them the parable of two men:
ٍ ْAَ/َِهُ"َ ﺏ/ْOَOَب َوﺡ ٍ َ/ْ' ﻡِ'ْ َأ ِ ْ0َ /َ َ"َِﺡَ ِه,ِ َ/َْ َ for one of them We provided two gardens of grapevines and surrounded them with datepalms:
&٣٢$
ًُْ"َ َزر6َ/ْ0ََ ﺏ/َْ ََو
in between the two We placed corn-fields.
ًsْ0َ* ُ ْ/ِِْْ ﻡvََ َوَْ ﺕ6َُﺕَ]ْ ُأآR ' ِ ْ0َ /َْآَِْ ا 33. Each of those gardens brought forth its produce, and failed not in the least therein:
&٣٣$
ًا5َ6َ َ"ُ6َََِْ ﺥ5 َ=َو
in the midst of them We caused a river to flow.
ُ َ ِو ُر#ُ َ َُﺡِِ ِ َوه9ِ َ َلKَ= ٌ5َ"َن َ ُ ﺙ َ ََوآ 34. (Abundant) was the produce this man had: he said to his companion, in the course of a mutual argument:
&٣٤$
ًا5َOَ X َ ﻡًَ َوَأN َ /ِ ﻡ5ُ َ>َْأَ َأآ
"More wealth have I than you, and more honor and power in (my following of) men."
ِ ِ3ْOَ/1 ٌَِk َ ُ َ ُ َوه/َ َ ََو َدﺥ 35. He went into his garden in a state (of mind) unjust to his soul:

&٣٥$
َ هَ ِ! ِ َأﺏًَا0َِ' أَن ﺕ X ُkَ َل ﻡَ َأ2
He said, "I deem not that this will ever perish.
Iً َ"ِDَ2 Iَ َ 3' ا X ُkَوﻡَ َأ 36. "Nor do I deem that the Hour (of Judgment) will (ever) come:
&٣٦$
ًََK/َُ ﻡ6ْ/1ًا ﻡ5ْ0َن ﺥ
َ َِ,َ e1ت ِإَ َرﺏ X ردِدX 'ِsََو
even if I am brought back to my Lord, I shall surely find (there) something better in exchange."
ُ َ ِو ُر#ُ َ َُ َل َ ُ ﺹَﺡُِ ُ َوه2 37. His companion said to him, in the course of the argument with him:
&٣٧$
ًُك َر َ َ ا+ ُ ﺙIٍ َOْiX 'ِب ﺙُ ﻡ ٍ َا5ُ ﻡِ' ﺕN َ َKََت ﺏِ !ِي ﺥ َ ْ5َOََأآ
"Dost thou deny Him Who created thee out of dust, then out of a sperm-drop, then fashioned thee into a man?
&٣٨$
َأﺡَ ًاe1ﺏ5َ ِك ﺏ ُ 5ِ ْ* َوَ ُأe1 هُ َ ا ُ َرﺏ/ِ
38. "But (I think) for my part that He is Allah, my Lord, and none shall I associate with my Lord.
ِ ُِ َة ِإ ﺏ2 َ ُ ] ﻡَ *َء ا َ ُْ2 َNَ /َ ] َ ََْوََْ ِإذْ َدﺥ 39. "Why didst thou not, as thou wentest into thy garden, say: 'Allah's Will (be done)! There is no power but with Allah!'
&٣٩$
ﻡًَ َو َوًَاN َ /َِ ﻡ2ن َأَ َأ ِ 5َ ُإِن ﺕ
If thou dost see me less than thee in wealth and sons,
N َ ِ /َ '1ًا ﻡ5ْ0َ' ﺥ ِ َ0ِْﺕ:ُ أَنe1َ َرﺏ3َ َ= 40. "It may be that my Lord will give me something better than thy garden,
&٤٠$
ًKًَا َز0ِ َ ﺹ َ ِْ9َُ= "َء3' ا َ 1ًَْ ﻡ3َُ ﺡ6ْ0ََ َ ِ+ْ5َُو
and that He will send on thy garden thunderbolts (by way of reckoning) from heaven, making it (but) slippery sand! --
&٤١$
ًََl ُ َ Tَ 0ِiَْ3ََْرًا =ََ' ﺕn َ ﻡَ ُؤه َ ِْ9ُ َْأو
41. "Or the water of the garden will run off underground so that thou wilt never be able to find it."
َ60ِ= h َ َOَْ ِ ََ ﻡَ أ0 Oَ آx ُ 1َKُ َ ََْﺹ,َ= ِ 5ِ َ"َ>َِ ﺏr0َِوُأﺡ 42. So his fruits (and enjoyment) were encompassed (with ruin), and he remained twisting and turning his hands over what he had spent on his property,
َ6ِ*ُو5ُ ََ ٌIَ ﺥَ ِوe َ َِوه which had (now) tumbled to pieces to its very foundations,

َأﺡًَاe1ﺏ5َ ِكْ ﺏ5ِ ْ* َْ ُأeِ/َْ0َ َ ُ ُلKََو
and he could only say, "Woe is me! would I had never ascribed partners to my Lord and Cherisher!"
&٤٣$
ًا5ِ9َ/ُن ﻡ َ َن ا ِ َوﻡَ آ ِ ُوَ ُ ﻡِ' دُو5ُ9/َ ٌIَsِ= ُ 'ََُوَْ ﺕ
43. Nor had he numbers to help him against Allah, nor was he able to deliver himself.
h 1 َ#ْ ِ ِ اIُ َََ ْ اN َ َِ/ُه 44. There, the (only) protection comes from Allah, the True One.
&٤٤$
ًْKُ ٌ5ْ0ٌَ ﺙََاﺏً َوﺥ5ْ0َهُ َ ﺥ
He is the Best to reward, and the Best to give success.
َ0ْX َ ِة ا0َ#ُْ ﻡ >َ َ ا6َ ْب5ِ ْوَاﺽ 45. Set forth to them the similitude of the life of this world:
ض ِ َْر,ْت ا ُ ََ ِ َِ ﺏrََْ "َء =َﺥ3' ا َ َُِ ﻡ/َْ َآَ"َء أ it is like the rain which We send down from the skies: the earth's vegetation absorbs it,
ح ُ َ51 "ً ﺕَ!ْرُو ُ ا0ِ;َ ه َ ََْﺹ,َ= but soon it becomes dry stubble, which the winds do scatter:
&٤٥$
َْ ِرًاKXْ ٍء ﻡeَ* 1 ُن ا ُ ََ آ َ ََوآ
it is (only) Allah Who prevails over all things.
َ0ْX َ ِة ا0َ#ْ اIُ َ/ن ِز َ ُ/َْاْ"َ ُل وَا 46. Wealth and sons are allurements of the life of this world:
&٤٦$
ًٌَ َأﻡ5ْ0َ ﺙََاﺏً َوﺥN َ 1 َ َرﺏ/ِ ٌ5ْ0َت ﺥ ُ َ#ِ 9ت ا ُ َ0ِ2َْوَا
but the things that endure, Good Deeds, are best in the sight of thy Lord, as rewards, and best as (the foundation for) hopes.
ض ﺏَ ِر َز ًة َ َْر,َْى ا5َ اَِْ َل َوﺕ5ُ 10َ3ُ َوَْ َم 47. One Day We shall remove the mountains, and thou wilt see the earth as a level stretch,
&٤٧$
ُْ َأﺡًَا6ْ/َِ ِدرْ ﻡyُ ََْ= َُْْه5َ;ََوﺡ
and We shall gather them, all together, nor shall We leave out any one of them.
qOَ ﺹN َ 1ﺽُا ََ َرﺏ5ِ َُو 48. And they will be marshalled before thy Lord in ranks, (with the announcement),
ٍة5 ََآُْ َأ و َل ﻡ/ْKََُْ"َُ آَ"َ ﺥsِ َْK "Now have ye come to Us (bare) as We created you first:

&٤٨$
ﺏَ ْ َزَ"ُْْ َأ ' ْ َ َ َُ ﻡ ًِْا
aye, ye thought We shall not fulfil the appointment made to you to meet (Us)!":
ِ 0ِ= "ِ' ﻡ َ 0ِKِOْ;ُ' ﻡ َ 0ِﻡ5ِ ُْ"َْى ا5ََ= ب ُ َِْ اTَ َِو ُوﺽ 49. And the Book (of Deeds) will be placed (before you); and thou wilt see the sinful in great terror because of what is (recorded) therein;
ب ِ ََِْ ﻡَ ِل هَ!َا ا/ََْن َ َو َ ُُKََو they will say, "Ah! woe to us! what a book is this!
ََه9ْ ًة ِإ َأﺡ5َ 0َِ ًة َوَ آ5َ 0ِyََ ِد ُر ﺹyُ َ It leaves out nothing small or great, but takes account thereof!"
ًا5َِو َوَُوا ﻡَ َ"ُِا ﺡَﺽ They will find all that they did, placed before them:
&٤٩$
َأﺡًَاN َ Xِْ ُ َرﺏvَ ََو
and not one will thy Lord treat with injustice.
m َ 0ََُِْوا ِإ ِإﺏ3َ= َد َمEِ ُُْوا+ اIِ َِDََ"ِْ َ/ُْ2 َْوِإذ 50. Behold! We said to the angels, "Bow down to Adam": they bowed down except Iblis.
ِ 1 َرﺏ5ِ ْ َ'ْ َأﻡh َ َ3َOَ= ' 1 ِْ' ا َ ِن ﻡ َ َآ He was one of the Jinns, and he broke the Command of his Lord.
وw ُ َ َُْ ُْ َوهeَِء ﻡِ' دُو0ِْ َ ُ َأو1ِ!ُوَ ُ َو ُذرA ََ=َأ Will ye then take him and his progeny as protectors rather than Me? And they are enemies to you!
&٥٠$
ًَ َ' ﺏ َ 0ِ"ِ vِ m َ ْsِﺏ
Evil would be the exchange for the wrongdoers!
ِْ6ِ3ُOَ أh َ َْض َوَ ﺥ ِ َْر,ْت وَا ِ "َوَا3 اh َ َُْْ ﺥ6Xَﺕ6ْ*ﻡَ َأ 51. I called them not to witness the creation of the heavens and the earth, nor (even) their own creation:
&٥١$
ًُاfَ ' َ 01ِfُ"ِْ َ! اA ُ] ﻡ ُ /َُوﻡَ آ
nor is it for Me to take as helpers such as lead (men) astray!

ُْ' َزَ"ُْْ =َ ََْه َ ِ! اe َ ِDَآ5َ ُ* ُ ُل َدُواKَ َوَْ َم 52. One Day He will say, "Call on those whom ye thought to be My partners,"
&٥٢$
ًKُِ ﻡ ْﺏ6َ/ْ0ََ ﺏ/َْ َُْ َو6َ ُا0َِْ3َ ََْ=
and they will call on them, but they will not listen to them; and We shall make for them a place of common perdition.
َِ ُه2َاXُ ﻡ6 ا َأX/َvَ= َر/ن ا َ ُﻡ5ِ ُْ"َْو َرأَى ا 53. And the Sinful shall see the Fire and apprehend that they have to all therein;
&٥٣$
ً=5ِ ْ9ََ ﻡ6ْ/َ َوَْ َُِوا
no means will they find to turn away therefrom.
ٍ َ>َ ﻡ1 ُس ﻡِ' آ ِ /ِ ن ِ Rْ5ُKْ هَ!َا اeِ= َ/ْ=5 ََْ ﺹKََو 54. We have explained in detail in this Qur'án, for the benefit of mankind, every kind of similitude:
&٥٤$
ًَ َ ْ ٍءeَ* 5َ َ>ْن َأآ ُ َ3ِْن ا َ ََوآ
but man is, in most things, contentious.
ُْ6 ُوا َرﺏ5ِOْyَْ3ََُى َو6ُْا ِإذْ َءهُ ُ ا/ِْﻡ:ُ س أَن َ / اTَ َ/ََوﻡَ ﻡ 55. And what is there to keep back men from believing, now that Guidance has come to them, nor from praying for forgiveness from their Lord,
&٥٥$
ًُُ2 ب ُ ُ ُ اْ َ!َا6َ0ِْﺕ,َ ْ' َأو َ 0َِ و,ُْ اI /ُ+ ُْ6َ0ِْﺕ,َِإ أَن ﺕ
but that (they ask that) the ways of the ancients be repeated with them, or the Wrath be brought to them face to face?
' َ ِ ِ!ر/ُ' َوﻡ َ ِ51;َُ' ِإ ﻡ َ 0َِ+ْ5ُ"ِْ ُ ا+ْ5ُ ََوﻡ 56. We only send the Messengers to give glad tidings and to give warnings:

َ#ُْا ﺏِ ِ اfُِْﺡ0ِ ِ ِlَُِْوا ﺏ5َOَ' آ َ ِ! َوَُ ِد ُل ا but the Unbelievers dispute with vain argument, in order therewith to weaken the truth,
&٥٦$
َوﻡَ أُ ِ!رُوا هُ ُوًاeَِﺕR َ!ُواA وَاﺕ
and they treat My Signs as a jest, as also the fact that they are warned!
ِ 1ت َرﺏ ِ َEِ ﺏ5َ 1َْ ُ ﻡِ" ' ُذآkَوﻡَ'ْ َأ 57. And who doth more wrong than one who is reminded of the Signs of his Lord,
ُ َ ﻡَ]ْ ََا2 َ ﻡe َ ِ3ََ َو6ْ/َ ض َ 5َ َْ,َ= but turns away from them, forgetting the (deeds) which his hands have sent forth?
ًا5ْ2ِْ َو6ِذَاR eِ=ُ ُ َو6َKْOَ أَنIً /ِِْ َأآ6ُُِﺏ2 ََ َ/َْ َ ِإ Verily We have set veils over their hearts lest they should understand this, and over their ears, deafness.

&٥٧$
َُْوا ِإذًا َأﺏًَا6َ 'ََ= َُى6ُْْ ِإَ ا6ََُْوإِن ﺕ
If thou callest them to guidance, even then will they never accept guidance.
Iِ َ"ْﺡ5 ُ ُر ذُو اOَyْ اN َ Xَو َرﺏ 58. But your Lord is Most Forgiving, Full of Mercy.
ب َ ُ ُ اْ َ!َا6َ َ َ َ َُا3ََاﺥِ ُ!هُ ﺏِ"َ آ:ُ َْ If He were to call them (at once) to account for what they have earned, then surely He would have hastened their Punishment:
&٥٨$
ًِDَُْ ﻡ ٌِْ ' َُِوا ﻡِ' دُوِ ِ ﻡ6 َﺏ
but they have their appointed time, beyond which they will find no refuge.
ََ"ُاk "َ َُْه/ََْْى َأه5ُKْ اN َ َِْوﺕ 59. Such were the populations We destroyed when they committed iniquities;
&٥٩$
ِ ﻡ ًِْا6ِِْ6َ"ِ َ/َْ ََو
but We fixed an appointed time for their destruction.
ُ ََOِ َ+َُ َل ﻡ2 َْوِإذ 60. Behold, Moses said to his attendant,
&٦٠$
ًُKُ ﺡe َ ِfْ' َأوْ َأﻡ ِ ْ5َ ْ#َْ اTَ َ"َْح ﺡَ َأﺏُْ َ ﻡ ُ 5َ َْ َأﺏ
"I will not give up until I reach the junction of the two seas or (until) I spend years and years in travel."
َ"ُ6ََ ﺡُﺕ0ِ3َ َ"ِ6ِ/ْ0َ ﺏTَ َ"ََْ ﻡyََ=ََ" ﺏ 61. But when they reached the Junction, they forgot (about) their Fish,
&٦١$
ًﺏ5َ َ+ 5ِ ْ#َْ اeِ= ُ َ0َِ+ !َ َA =َﺕ
which took its course through the sea (straight) as in a tunnel.
َََاءn َ/ِﺕR ُ ََOِ َ َل2 =ََ" َ َوزَا 62. When they had passed on (some distance), Moses said to his attendant: "Bring us our early meal;
&٦٢$
ًَ9َ َ هَ!َا5ِ َOَ+ 'َِ ﻡ/0ِKَ َْKَ
truly we have suffered much fatigue at this (stage of) our journey."
ت َ ُ#ْ] ا ُ 0ِ3َ e1ِ َ= ِة5َ ْA 9َ ِإَ ا/ْ] ِإذْ أَ َو َ َْ َل َأ َرَأ2 63. He replied: "Sawest thou (what happened) when we betook ourselves to the rock? I did indeed forget (about) the Fish:

ُ 5َ ُن َأنْ َأذْآ ُ َiْ0 ; ُ ِإ ا0َِ3ََوﻡَ أ none but Satan made me forget to tell (you) about it:
&٦٣$
ًََ 5ِ ْ#َْ اeِ= ُ َ0َِ+ !َ َA وَاﺕ
it took its course through the sea in a marvelous way!"
ِ َْ /ُ ﻡَ آN َ َِ َل َذ2 64. Moses said: "That was what we were seeking after":
&٦٤$
ً9َ9َ2 َ"ِﺙَ ِرهR ََ =َرْﺕَ ا
so they went back on their footsteps, following (the path they had come).
َِ /ِ ْ'ِ ﻡIً َ"َْ ُ َرﺡ/ْ0َﺕR َ'ْ َِ ِد1=َ َََا ًَْا ﻡ 65. So they found one of Our servants, on whom We had bestowed Mercy from Ourselves
&٦٥$
ً"ِْ ُ 'َِ ُ ﻡ/ْ" ََو
and whom We had taught knowledge from Our own presence.
َ+َُ َل َ ُ ﻡ2 66. Moses said to him:
&٦٦$
] ُر*ًْا َ ْ"1ُ "ِ' ﻡ ِ َ"1َ ُ ََ أَن ﺕN َ ُ ِ هَ ْ َأﺕ
"May I follow thee, on the footing that thou teach me something of the (Higher) Truth which thou hast been taught?"
&٦٧$
ًا5َْ ﺹe َ ِ َ ﻡTَ 0ِiَْ3َ َ' ﺕN َ َ َل ِإ2
67. (The other) said: "Verily thou wilt not be able to have patience with me!
&٦٨$
ًا5ُْْ ﺏِ ِ ﺥrِ#ُ ََ ﻡَ َْ ﺕ5ُ ِْ9َ\ ﺕ َ ْ0ََوآ
68. "And how canst thou have patience about things about which thy understanding is not complete?"
&٦٩$
ًا5ْ َأﻡN َ َ eِ9ًْا َوَ َأ5ِ إِن *َء ا ُ ﺹَﺏeُِ ََِ+ َ َل2
69. Moses said: "Thou wilt find me, if Allah so will, (truly) patient: nor shall I disobey thee in aught."
&٧٠$
ًا5ْْ ُ ِذآ/ِ ﻡN َ َ ث َ ِ ْْ ٍء ﺡَ ُأﺡeَ* 'َ eِ/َْ,ْ3َ =ََ ﺕeِ/َْ َ ن اﺕ ِ ِ َ= َ َل2
70. The other said: "If then thou wouldst follow me, ask me no questions about anything until I myself speak to thee concerning it."

َ6َ25َ َ ﺥIِ َ/0ِO 3 اeِ= ََِ ﺡَ ِإذَا َرآKََiَ= 71. So they both proceeded: until, when they were in the boat, he scuttled it.
&٧١$
ًا5ًْ ِإﻡsْ0َ* ] َ ْsِ َْKَ َ6َْق َأه َ 5ِ ْyُِ َ6َْ25َ ََ َل َأﺥ2
Said Moses: "Hast thou scuttled it in order to drown those in it? Truly a strange thing hast thou done!"
&٧٢$
ًا5َْ ﺹe َ ِ َ ﻡTَ 0ِiَْ3َ َ' ﺕN َ ُ ْ ِإ2َ َل َأَْ َأ2
72. He answered: "Did I not tell thee that thou canst have no patience with me?"
&٧٣$
ًا5ْ3ُ ِي5ْ ﻡِ'ْ َأﻡeِ/ْKِْه5ُ] َوَ ﺕ ُ 0ِ3َ َ"ِ ﺏeِْ!َِاﺥ:َُ َل َ ﺕ2
73. Moses said: "Rebuke me not for forgetting, nor grieve me by raising difficulties in my case."
ُ َََKَ= ًَُﻡn َ0ِKَ َ ﺡَ ِإذَاKََiَ= 74. Then they proceeded: until, when they met a young man, he slew him.
&٧٤$
ًا5ْX ًsْ0َ* ] َ ْsِ َْK m ٍ ْOَ 5ِ ْ0َyِ ﺏIً 0ًِ َزآ3ْOَ ] َ ََْ2َ َل َأ2
Moses said: "Hast thou slain an innocent person who had slain none? Truly a foul (unheard-of) thing hast thou done!"
&٧٥$
ًا5َْ ﺹeِ َ ﻡTَ 0ِiَْ3َ َ' ﺕN َ ِإN َ ُ2َ َل َأَْ َأ2
75. He answered: "Did I not tell thee that thou canst have no patience with me?"
eِ/َِْﺡ9ُْ ٍء ﺏَ ْ َهَ =ََ ﺕeَ* 'َ N َ َُْ,َ+ َ َل إِن2 76. (Moses) said: "If ever I ask thee about anything after this, keep me not in thy company:
&٧٦$
ُ!ْرًاe1ُ 'ِ] ﻡ َ ْyَََْ ﺏ2
then wouldst thou have received (full) excuse from my side."
Iٍ َْ5َ2 َ َْ َأه0ََ ﺡَ ِإذَا َأﺕKََiَ= 77. Then they proceeded: until, when they came to the inhabitants of a town,
َ"ُُهO10َfُ َﺏَْا أَن,َ= َ6َْْ َ"َ َأهiَْ+ا they asked them for food, but they refused them hospitality.

ُ ََﻡ2َ,َ= t
َK/َ ِْ ُ َأن5ُ َ َِارًا60ِ= =َ َََا They found there a wall on the point of falling down, but he set it up straight.
&٧٧$
ًا5ْْ ِ َأ0ََ ت َ ْ!َA ] َﺕ َ ْsِ* َْ َ َل2
(Moses) said: "If thou hadst wished, surely thou couldst have exacted some recompense for it!"
N َ ِ/ْ0َ َوﺏeِ/ْ0َق ﺏ ُ َا5ِ= َ َل هَ!َا2 78. He answered: "This is the parting between me and thee:
&٧٨$
ًا5َْْ ِ ﺹ0َ Tِiَْ3َْوِ ِ ﻡَ َْ ﺕ,َِ ﺏN َ ُs1َُ,َ+
now will I tell thee the interpretation of (those things) over which thou wast unable to hold patience.
5ِ ْ#َْ اeِ= ن َ َُ"ْ َ ' َ 0َِآ3َ"ِ ْ]َََ= Iُ َ/0ِO 3َأﻡ ا 79. As for the boat, it belonged to certain men in dire want: they plied on the water:
&٧٩$
ًْ9َn Iٍ َ/0ِOَ+ ُْﺥُ ُ! آ,َ ٌNِ ن َورَاءهُ ﻡ َ ََ َوآ6َ0ِت َأنْ َأ X َرَد,َ=
I but wished to render it unserviceable, for there was after them a certain king who seized on every boat by force.
' ِ ْ0َ/ِْﻡ:ُن َأﺏََا ُ ﻡ َ ََ= َُ ُمyَْوَأﻡ ا 80. "As for the youth, his parents were people of Faith,
&٨٠$
ًا5ْOًَُ َوآ0ْyُl َ"ُ6َKِْه5ُ َ أَن/0ِ;َAَ=
and we feared that he would grieve them by obstinate rebellion and ingratitude (to Allah and man).
&٨١$
ً"ْب ُرﺡ َ 5َ ْ2ْ ُ َزآَ ًة َوَأ/1ًا ﻡ5ْ0َُ"َ ﺥ6Xُ"َ َرﺏ6َِ ُْ َ َردَْ أَن,َ=
81. "So we desired that their Lord would give them in exchange (a son) better in purity (of conduct) and closer in affection.
Iِ َ/َِ"ْ اeِ= ' ِ ْ0َ"0َِ ' ِ ْ0ََُﻡyِ ن َ ََ= َوَأﻡ اَِْا ُر 82. "As for the wall, it belonged to two youths, orphans, in the Town;
ً#َِن َأﺏُهُ"َ ﺹ َ َُ"َ َوآ6 ٌ/ََْ ُ آ#َن ﺕ َ ََوآ there was, beneath it, a buried treasure, to which they were entitled: their father had been a righteous man:
N َ 1' رﺏ1 ﻡIً َ"ْ َهُ"َ َرﺡ/ََ آ5ِ ْAَْ3ََ َأ*ُ هُ"َ َوyَُْ ْ َأنN َ Xَرَا َد َرﺏ,َ= so thy Lord desired that they should attain their age of full strength and get out their treasure -a mercy (and favor) from thy Lord.

ِي5َْوﻡَ =َ َُْ ُ َ'ْ َأﻡ I did it not of my own accord.
&٨٢$
ًا5َْْ ِ ﺹ0َ Tِiْ3َْوِ ُ ﻡَ َْ ﺕ,َ ﺕN َ َِذ
Such is the interpretation of (those things) over which thou wast unable to hold patience."
' ِ ْ0َْ5َKْ َ' ذِي اN َ ََُ,ْ3ََو 83. They ask thee concerning Zul-qarnain.
&٨٣$
ًا5ْْ ُ ِذآ/1ُْ ﻡ0ََ َُْﺕ,َ+ ْ ُ2
Say, "I will rehearse to you something of his story."
&٨٤$
ًََ+ ْ ٍءeَ* 1 َُ ُ ﻡِ' آ/ْ0َﺕRَض و ِ َْر,ْ اeِ= ُ َ / َِإ ﻡ
84. Verily We established his power on earth, and We gave him the ways and the means to all ends.
&٨٥$
ًََ+ Tَ ََْﺕ,َ=
85. One (such) way he followed,
Iٍ َsِ"َ' ﺡ ٍ ْ0َ eِ= ب ُ 5ُ ْyَ َوَ َهَ ﺕm ِ ْ" ;ب ا َ 5ِ ْyَﺡَ ِإذَا ﺏََ َ ﻡ 86. Until, when he reached the setting of the sun, He found it set in a spring of murky water:
ًَْﻡ2 َ َه/ِ َ ََو َو near it he found a People:
&٨٦$
ً/ْ3ُِْ ﺡ60ِ= !َ ِA َب َوِإﻡ أَن ﺕ َ !1 َ ُ' ِإﻡ أَن ﺕ ِ ْ0َْ5َKَْ َ ذَا ا/ُْ2
We said: "O Zul-qarnain! (thou hast authority), either to punish them, or to treat them with kindness."
ُ ُ!ﺏ1 َ ُ ف َ َْ3َ= َ ََk 'ََ َل َأﻡ ﻡ2 87. He said: "Whoever doth wrong, him shall we punish;
&٨٧$
ًا5ْX ً!ﺏُ ُ َ!َاﺏ1 َ ُ0َ= ِ 1د ِإَ َرﺏX 5َ ُ ُﺙ
then shall he be sent back to his Lord; and He will punish him with a punishment unheard-of (before).
َ/ْ3ُ#ًْ =ََ ُ ََاء ا#َِ' َوَ"ِ َ ﺹ َ َﻡR ْ'ََوَأﻡ ﻡ 88. "But whoever believes, and works righteousness -- he shall have a goodly reward,
&٨٨$
ًا5ْ3ُ َ5ِ ُْ ُل َ ُ ﻡِ'ْ َأﻡKَ/َ+َو
and easy will be his task as we order it by our command."

ًََ+ Tَ َْﺙُ َأﺕ
89. Then followed he (another) way.
m ِ ْ" ; اTَ ِْiَﺡَ ِإذَا ﺏََ َ ﻡ 90. Until, when he came to the rising of the sun,
&٩٠$
ًا5ِْ+ َ6ِ' دُو1ُ ﻡ6 َ َْ ْ َْ ٍم2 ََ Tُ ُْiََوَ َهَ ﺕ
he found it rising on a people for whom We had provided no covering protection against the sun.
&٩١$
ًا5َُْ ﺏِ"َ َ َْ ِ ﺥ/ْiََْ َأﺡ2 َوN َ ِ!َ َآ
91. (He left them) as they were: We completely understood what was before him.
&٩٢$
ًََ+ Tَ َْﺙُ َأﺕ
92. Then followed he (another) way
' ِ ْ 3' ا َ ْ0َﺡَ ِإذَا ﺏََ َ ﺏ 93. Until, when he reached (a tract) between two mountains,
&٩٣$
ًَْ2 ن َ ُ6َKْOَ ن َ َْﻡً ََدُو2 َ"ِ6َِوَ َ ﻡِ' دُو
he found, beneath, them a people who scarcely understood a word.
ض ِ َْر,ْ اeِ= ن َ ُِو3ْOُج ﻡ َ ُْ,َج َوﻡ َ ُْ,َ ن
' ِإ ِ ْ0َْ5َKَُْا َ ذَا ا2 94. They said: "O Zul-qarnain! the Gog and Magog (people) do great mischief on earth:
&٩٤$
اqَ+ ُْ6َ/ْ0ََ َوﺏ/َ/ْ0ًَْ ََ أَن ﺕَْ َ َ ﺏ5َ ﺥN َ َ ُ َ َْ ْ َ6َ=
shall we then render thee tribute in order that thou mightest erect a barrier between us and them?"
ٌ5ْ0َ ﺥe1 ِ َرﺏ0ِ= e1/ ََ َل ﻡَ ﻡ2 95. He said: "(The power) in which my Lord has established me is better (than tribute):
&٩٥$
ًُْ َردْﻡ6َ/ْ0ََُْ َوﺏ/ْ0َُ ٍة َأْ َ ْ ﺏKِ ﺏeُِ/0َِ,َ=
help me therefore with strength (and labor): I will erect a strong barrier between you and them:
ِ َِ#ْ ا5َ َ ُزﺏeُِﺕR 96. "Bring me blocks of iron."
ُاAُOَ َل ا2 ' ِ ْ0َ=َ 9' ا َ ْ0ََوَى ﺏ+ ﺡَ ِإذَا At length, when he had filled up the space between the two steep mountain sides, he said, "Blow (with your bellows)."

ًا5ْiِ2 ِ ْ0ََ ْغ5ِ ْ= ُأeُِﺕR َ َل2 ﺡَ ِإ َذا َ ََ ُ َرًا
Then, when he had made it (red) as fire, he said: "Bring me, that I may pour over it, molten lead."
&٩٧$
ًْKَ ُ َ َُاiَْ+ُو ُ َوﻡَ ا5َ6ْvَ َُا أَنiْ+=َ"َ ا
97. Thus were they made powerless to scale it or to dig through it.
e1' رﺏ1ٌ ﻡIَ"َْ َل هَ!َا َرﺡ2 98. He said: "This is a mercy from my Lord:
َ ََ ُ َدآ ءe1=َ ِذَا َء َوْ ُ َرﺏ but when the promise of my Lord comes to pass, He will make it into dust;
&٩٨$
qKَ ﺡe1ن َوْ ُ َرﺏ َ ََوآ
and the promise of my Lord is true."
t ٍ ْ َ ﺏeِ= ج ُ ُ"َ !ٍ ِsَُْ َْﻡ6َfْ ََ ﺏ/ْآ5َ ََوﺕ 99. On that day We shall leave them to surge like waves on one another;
&٩٩$
ً ْ"َ َُْه/ْ َ"ََ= ِرX9 اeِ= َ ِOَُو
the trumpet will be blown, and We shall collect them all together.
&١٠٠$
ًْﺽ5َ ' َ ِ5ِ=َْ1 !ٍ ِsَ َ َْﻡ/َ6َ َ/ْﺽ5َ ََو
100. And We shall present Hell that day for Unbelievers to see, all spread out --
ي5ِ َْء َ' ِذآiِn eِ= ُْ6ُ/ُ0ْ' آََ]ْ َأ َ ِ! ا 101. (Unbelievers) whose eyes had been under a veil from Remembrance of Me,
&١٠١$
ً ْ"َ+ ن َ ُ 0ِiَْ3َ َ َوآَُا
and who had been unable even to hear.
َء0ِْ َأوeِِ!ُوا َِدِي ﻡِ' دُوA َ ُوا أَن5َOَ' آ َ ِ! اx َ ِ3َ#َ=َأ 102. Do the Unbelievers think that they can take my servants as protectors besides Me?
&١٠٢$
ًُ ُ ' َ ِ5ِ=َِْ َ /َ6َ ََِْْإ َأ
Verily We have prepared Hell for the Unbelievers for (their) entertainment.
&١٠٣$
ًَ"ْ' َأ َ ِ5َ3َْﺥ,ُُِْْ ﺏs1َ/ُ ْ َُ ْ ه2
103. Say: "Shall we tell you of those who lose most in respect of their deeds? –

&١٠٤$
ً ْ/ُن ﺹ َ ُ/ِ3ْ#ُ ُْ6 ن َأ َ َُ3ْ#َ َُْ َوه0ْX َ ِة ا0َ#ْ اeِ= ُْ6ُ0ْ َ+ َ' ﺽ َ ِ! ا
104. "Those whose efforts have been wasted in this life, while they thought that they were acquiring good by their works?"
ُْ6َُ"َْ]ْ َأiَِ#َ= ِ ِDَKِِْ َو61ت َرﺏ ِ َEُِوا ﺏ5َOَ' آ َ ِ! اN َ ِsَأُو 105. They are those who deny the Signs of their Lord and the fact of their having to meet Him (in the Hereafter): vain will be their works,
&١٠٥$
ًْ َوزIِ ََﻡ0ِKُْْ َْ َم ا6َ ُ 0ِKُ ََ=
nor shall We, on the Day of Judgment, give them any Weight.
&١٠٦$
هُ ُوًاeُِ+ َو ُرeَِﺕR َ!ُواA ُوا وَاﺕ5َOَ ُ ﺏِ"َ آ/َ6َ ُْ ََا ُؤهN َ َِذ
106. That is their reward, Hell; because they rejected Faith, and took My Signs and My Messengers by way of jest.

ًُ ُ س ِ ْْ َدو5ِOْت ا ُ /َ ُْ6َ ْ]ََت آ ِ َ#ِ 9ُا َوَ"ُِا ا/َﻡR ' َ ِ! ن ا
ِإ
107. As to those who believe and work righteous deeds, they have, for their entertainment, the Gardens of Paradise,
&١٠٨$
ًَ َِ ﺡ6ْ/َ ن َ ُyَْ َ َ60ِ= ' َ َِِﺥ
108. Wherein they shall dwell (for aye): no change will they wish for from them.
e1ت َرﺏ ِ َ"َِ1 ﻡَِادًا5ُ ْ#َْن ا َ َُ ْ آ2 109. Say: "If the ocean were ink (wherewith to write out) the words of my Lord,
e1ت َرﺏ ُ َ"ََِ َ آO/ََْ َ أَن ﺕ2 5ُ ْ#َِْ َ اOَ/َ sooner would the ocean be exhausted than would the words of my Lord,
&١٠٩$
َ ﺏِ"ِ>ِْ ِ ﻡَ َدًا/ْsِ ََْو
even if we added another ocean like it, for its aid."
ٌُُِْ ِإَ ٌ وَاﺡ6َ َأ "َ ِإe
َ>ُُْْ ُﺡَ ِإ1ٌ ﻡ5َ;َُ ْ ِإ "َ َأَ ﺏ2 110. Say: "I am but a man like yourselves, (but) the inspiration has come to me, that your Allah is one Allah:
ً#ََِ ْ"َ ْ َ"ًَ ﺹ0َْ= ِ 1َء َرﺏKِ ُْ5َ ن َ َ=َ"َ' آ whoever expects to meet his Lord, let him work righteousness,

ِ َأﺡًَا1كْ ﺏِ َِ َد ِة َرﺏ5ِ ْ;ُ ََو
and in the worship of his Lord, admit no one as partner."
