Ensure that Bottom Bracket (BB) shell ⓞ is clean and free from metal chips, dirt and excess paint. Install the right BB cup ① and BB inner sleeve ② to bottom bracket shell ⓞ. Tighten cup to 400-500 kgf.cm / 40-50 Nm / 354-443 in.lbs Install the left BB cup ③. Tighten cup to 400-500 kgf.cm / 40-50 Nm / 354-443 in.lbs Gently and completely insert the right crank and spindle through the BB cups. Take great care not to damage the plastic cover of left BB cup ③. It is recommended to lightly grease the plastic cover of BB cups.

Install the left crank by precisely engaging the spindle hole of the crank to spindle. Tighten M18 crank bolt ④ to a torque of 7-15 kgf.cm / 0.7-1.5 Nm / 6-13 in.lbs. Tighten M5 pinch bolts ⑤ to a torque of 110-150 kgf.cm / 11-15 Nm / 95-130 in.lbs. Note: Alternately tighten the M5 pinch bolts ⑤ so both bolts reach recommended torque simultaneously. Ensure that bolt threads have a light layer of grease.
