What is Clustering?  Clustering involves grouping of sensor nodes and electing cluster heads for collect the data from respective cluster’s nodes and forward the aggregated data to base station.  Multi-hop , it is the technique , used in WSN to connect two or more wireless hops to convey information from source to destination.  Multi-zone , is the technique ,which divides the clustering area into no of zones according to the distance and uses the clustering methods in these zones.ntr Sonali Satapathy (201511076) & Smriti Sikha Palo (201511071)

Possible Outcome A Cluster based multi hop and multi zone based routing protocol which will utilize less amount of energy while data transmission from different location to base station. The model’s efficiency can be find out by comparing and contrasting different available other model.

Conclusion In wireless sensor area network clustering is used to increase network lifetime. And if the base station is in center than it will also reduce the communication cost. Transmission energy depends on the distance and distance for the communication is less in multiple base station scenarios.  In zone based algorithm the size of the zone will also affect the residual energy of the node. Less zone area will increase the life time of network.
