Youth League Flyer 2009-2010

CRAWFORDSVILLE YOUTH BASKETBALL 2009-2010 The Montgomery County Youth League is an opportunity for the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade boys to continue to learn basketball fundamentals while competing in a league with kids from the North Montgomery and Southmont school districts. Cost :

$40 for each child in each league. Players will receive reversible jersey and shorts that they keep, league certificate, at least one practice per week, ten Saturday’s of competition including a championship tournament on the last Saturday, free admission and the opportunity to be recognized and/or play at halftime of the varsity game on December 19 vs. Seeger.

Please make checks payable to Crawfordsville Boy’s Basketball. All forms are due on or before the end of the school day on October 23, 2009. Walk-up registrations on the evening of October 26, 2009 will be accepted, but charged the same $10 late registration fee. Please return the attached form with payment to your child’s elementary office, the high school office, or mail to: Crawfordsville High School c/o Coach John Blackwell One Athenian Drive Crawfordsville, IN 47933 DATES Monday, October 26 and Tuesday, October 27 – 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm each night – Opening practices for all participants of all grades at Crawfordsville High School. These practices will be conducted by the high school staff, with assistance from high school players and youth league coaches. Players will be placed on teams immediately after these practices and will be contacted by their coach with specific team practice schedules. After the first two practices at CHS, the majority of practices will be held at the Montgomery County Boys and Girls Club, with a tentative schedule of 3rd graders practicing on Tuesday, 4th graders on Wednesday, and 5th graders on Thursday evenings. Game days are the following Saturday mornings at Crawfordsville High School, Southmont High School, and/or North Montgomery High School. Detailed game schedule will be finalized and shared by each team’s coach immediately after teams are picked, as it is dependent on the number of teams that each school district has.
