Most countries have traditional celebrations that occur annually. In your opinion, what benefits do these celebrations have for society? -various benefits because yes -firstly, motivating people, giving a break from work/school, relaxing, meeting with friends, socialising, opportunity for family gatherings, traditions bullshit -secondly, marketing, economy, comercializare, special products associated with the celebration -conclusion, they are good because yes I believe that national holidays are are a very beneficial thing for society from many viewpoints. They are an expected moment for the population of a country, that brings joy, time spent with family, and creates wonderful memories. Firstly, national celebrations are a very important event because of the free days from work and school. These are very motivating days for a lot of people, because they can relax, spend time with the close ones or having fun. Family gatherings can become a natural part of the celebration itself in many cases. Holidays like Christmas or Easter that cannot go by without seeing your every distant relative and withing them all the best. Quality time with friends and socializing are also a very important part of many people’s lives, and holidays are an opportunity to do so by going to events with the topic of the holiday, like concerts, theater and so on. Secondly, national celebrations become a very good thing for many people’s pockets and the country’s economy. Once a tradition is popular enough, it becomes all about shopping and products that people are made to believe that are traditional, through smart marketing campaigns. This way, holidays become commercially standardized, but companies benefit very much, their profit skyrocketing in these periods. The money cycle goes on, the consumers are happy, the sellers are even happier, and everything is in the favor of the economy. In conclusion, traditional celebrations are not only a moment when everyone spends quality time with their close ones and takes a break from the ordinary, but they help the society by encouraging a competitive market economy.
