Who is manager: A Manager is the person responsible for planning and directing the work of a group of individuals, monitoring their work, and taking corrective action when necessary.
What are the roles of a manager: Manager is a representative of subordinates. Manager is a appropriate counselor. Manager strives for effectiveness. Manager maintains relationship. Manager is a motivator.
Why manager need good communication skills: Managers need to be able to communicate, build relationships and work with individuals at all levels and their behavior and interpersonal skills can affect others both positively and negatively; consequently, this is a major element of good management.
