Who is manager: A Manager is the person responsible for planning and directing the work of a group of individuals, monitoring their work, and taking corrective action when necessary.



What are the roles of a manager: Manager is a representative of subordinates. Manager is a appropriate counselor. Manager strives for effectiveness. Manager maintains relationship. Manager is a motivator. 

Why manager need good communication skills: Managers need to be able to communicate, build relationships and work with individuals at all levels and their behavior and interpersonal skills can affect others both positively and negatively; consequently, this is a major element of good management.

is used so frequently that "we cannot afford to do it poorly".

Communication

has a special power: to create interest, stimulate action, achieve agreement, foster enthusiasm.

• Communication is the basis for almost all other managerial skills. It is involved in delegating duties to subordinates, motivating employees, demonstrating leadership  abilities, training new policies and programs, and counseling performance problems.
