To show how people who are in completely different ends of the social spectrum can be a lot like each other Show how each person goes through the school day with them being in their different social cliques Shows how people can hide what they are going through and someone else will never know that their are feeling that way unless they talk about it Shows how unexpected friendships can come out of unexpected situations

Audience This book targets young adults and youth. If you liked reading Tell Me Three Things, you will like reading this book. They are very similar in the way they are written. I feel like people who are trying to figure out who they are, where they fit in, or need to figure some things out in their life should read thing book. It shows how people come together and pull through unexpected events.

Purpose The purpose of the book is to show that people can become friends unexpectedly. It shows that you can find hope in unexpected places. You can also feel more connected to the most unexpected people.

Strategy Use the split point of view and the 2 main characters to showcase the importance of how people can be more alike than they thought.

Effect The effect on the reader is to help you connect with the book and show you that you can find yourself in other people when you can’t even find yourself in yourself. It helps you to not give up hope when times get rough.
