What I Shall do Unto Him? Mark 15:12 By: Frederick L. Langit Text: “And Pilate answered, and said again unto them, what will ye, then that I shall do unto him whom ye call the King of the Jews?” Body: 1. Complain. “And the multitude crying aloud…” Mark 15:8. The chief priest accused him of many things and the multitude are crying aloud to complain to Pilate that they would released Barabbas and crucify our Lord. Today many Christians are always on their way to complain. They don’t want to have a responsibility. Often they are more on complaining than committing. 2. Condemn. “But the chief priests moved the people…” Mark 15:11. People condemned Jesus by accusing him. 3. Criticize. “The chief priests held a consultation with the elders and scribes and the whole council…” to find fault and that what exactly happened so that they bound Jesus and delivered to Pilate. 4. Crucify. “ …and the cried out the more exceedingly, Crucify him!..” cp. Hebrews 6:6 5. Confess. See Romans 10:13 6. Crown. ‘And they clothed him with purple and crown” 7. Commit. Luke 6:46 Conclusion: As a Christian, what will you do to Jesus? Are we to complain, condemn, be a critic, crucify, or are we to confess, crown and commit ourselves to Him?
