Accused’s version of fatal fight
By LOUISE EDDY A MAN accused of murdering his ex-partner’s lover has admitted kicking, punching and striking George Asprogiannis with a stake last August, but says he was unaware the victim had been stabbed in the struggle. Ronnie Phillip Charles Lovett, 22, gave evidence before Bathurst Supreme Court at the close of the Crown’s case yesterday morning.
