Are You Ready To Start a Ministry?

We need to Hear From God about a Few Things... Does Heart = Calling? Our Specific “Mission” What Type of Outreach? The Cost of Ministry Are We Ready Yet?

Does Heart = Calling? •

Some have a heart for the ministry but are not “called.”



Some are called but do not have the heart.



It’s ok to have a heart for the ministry and not be called. It’s not ok to be called and not have the heart.



Passion for an issue can be misleading.



Deep Heart Check - What are my true motivations?



You must know the Lord is directing you into this type of Ministry.

Your specific Mission? Target Audience? •

Evangelistic?



Parent’s? Spouses?



Social/Political Issues?



Education?



Youngin’s?



Overcomers?



The Church?



Knowing Mission Statement is Essential to Obtain Spiritual Covering and Blessing.

Know for who and why you are in this.



Know the “structure” and approach of the outreach.



Mindful of the commitment you are making.



Have sought and received the blessing of your Spiritual covering.



Trusting God alone and only for His glory.

Now After all that ... Let’s get started!!! Developing your Board of Overseers Developing a leadership plan that grows with the ministry and not out of balance. Exodus Standards Ongoing Education, Transparency and Humility All this hard work and preparation will protect you ... and the people the Lord brings to you. ... and remember, if you know Christ, you can start ministering the gospel today!
