Assigned Work (Due Mo Tu We Th Fr ____/____) • Copying the format onto a blank page in your notebook, use a different one of the poetry strategies attached for each of the poems listed above. • Write a short paragraph reflecting on which strategies work best (or worst) for you and why. VI. Challenge Work (Due Mo Tu We Th Fr ____/____) Choose one of the poems assigned in this cluster, then write a poem that replies to the speaker, revealing your feelings on the topic. If possible, try to emulate the speaker’s style and/or voice. For example, if the speaker uses a lot of metaphors, you should do the same. If the poem is literal, or uses fragments or onomatopoeia, try to do that, etc.
