*Math – When we return from the break we will be learning about Customary and Metric Measurement. Students will be able to use their resource page on the test. They do not need to memorize the different measurements. Our test will be Friday, April 19th. We will also have a classwork grade on the Customary system on Thursday, April 11th, and a classwork grade on the Metric system on Tuesday, April 16th.

* Reading –We will continue reviewing some of our literature standards when we return. We will also begin looking at nonfiction standards. We are also reading Auggie and Me aloud in class. There will not be a test, we are just reading for fun.

Math: Complete 30 minutes on either Khan Academy or DreamBox. If your child is on Lexia or Reading Plus, please have them work on this at home. This is due each Friday! Read 20 minutes/night

* Writing –We will be reviewing various parts of a narrative writing.

* Grammar –We will continue reviewing our grammar

Vocabulary Quiz on Unit 4 Weeks 1 & 2 tomorrow!

* Social Studies – We will begin learning about Reconstruction. We will just have various classwork grades for this unit.

We are really beginning to review many of our standards as we are finishing most of them up. We will also be reviewing for the Milestone in class. Our testing schedule is as follows: • April 29th – ELA Day 1 • April 30th – ELA Day 2 • May 1st – ELA Day 3 • May 6th – Math Day 1 • May 7th – Math Day 2
