Trinity at Elyria Catholic

The Swami just doesn’t understand the Panthers. They have loads of talent on offense and a solid defense, but cannot cut the mustard against top-flight opposition. This one, at home, is going to hurt. Trinity 28-24

window when these teams hook up. Similar communities, kids that grew up playing all sports against each other and an electric atmosphere will make this game one of the most fun to attend in the area tonight. The Swami likes the home team. Keystone 35-31

game last season, a game which saw a lot of fouls and plenty of bad blood. I’m sure Plymouth really appreciates The Swami reminding the Flyers of this. St. Paul 63-6

Warren JFK at Southview (Saturday)

Warren JFK is 6-2, Southview is 2-6. Ugg. However, this Plymouth at St. Paul one will not be as easy as peo(Saturday) ple might think. Warren JFK The Big Red defeated St. Paul 24-17 Wellington at Keystone Throw the records out the in a heated basketball playoff

Fearless forecasts

125-46

Anthony Rios proved the old adage “even a blind squirrel finds an acorn now and then” last week by posting a 20-3 record. After that stellar showing Rios remained in last place with a 116-55 record. Jim Brady all but clinched the regular season title by also going 20-3 with his picks last week. At 129-42 he leads second-place Steve Walker (125-46) by four full games. The rest of the competitors are just playing out the string and would need some kind of

natural disaster (or Brady to forget to turn in his picks for the week) to get back in the hunt. Playoffs are just around the corner and things are starting to heat up. The Swami loves this time of year. And just like that, POOF, he’s gone. Editor's Note: The views of the Swami do not reflect the views of The Morning Journal, its sports department or Jeff Reed's bartender.
