Memory Treasures Due Wednesday#7 John 3:16 Due Friday2nd Commandment “You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God.”
Remember!! Each night your child’s Student Planner must be initialed or signed next to the appropriate day AND their Take-Home Folder needs to be looked at. If there are papers with a grade those stay home. If the paper has a “finish” or a “fix” at the top, please have your child finish or fix it and return the paper the next day in their folder.
For those new and old to Apostles, it is required all parents, grandparents, etc. take the “Keeping Our Children safe” class BEFORE accompanying field trips or working with the children of our school or church. The times this class are being offered are listed on Principal Luehring’s blog: apostlesprincipal.blogspot.com. Even if you took this class last year, you MUST take it again this year. Please do not consider this a burden. At Apostles we want to make sure our children are kept safe.
Sunday Singing This Sunday, September 13, grades 1-2 will be singing in the 11:15 church service here at Apostles. Please have your child in the 1st grade classroom by 11:00 so we can practice the song. After we are done practicing, your child is going to come and find you. Please be on the tanbark. Your child will sit with you during the service.
Have a friend who is looking for a school for their child? Invite them to the Open House going on this week at Apostles Lutheran School from 9-1PM everyday this week!
