Application cost Rs.300/- for SC/ST Rs.150/- (On Production of attested copy of Community Certificate) – for P.G.Diploma in Yoga Education. M.Phil., Selection Basis: Marks in the Entrance Examination -100 multiple choice questions (MCQ) with 50% weightage and marks in qualifying P.G. Degree with 50% weightage. Entrance Examination shall be conducted by the respective Department. Application and Prospectus can be obtained from the undersigned on written requisition by mentioning the subject of M.Phil., program along with a crossed Bank Draft drawn in favor of THE REGISTRAR, ALAGAPPA UNIVERSITY, Payable at KARAIKUDI by enclosing a self-addressed stamped (Rs.25) envelope of 35 X 10 cm. Application can also be downloaded from the website www.alagappauniversity.ac.in. Downloaded-filled in application should be accompanied by a DD for the specified amount (application cost) along with Rs 10/- stamped self addressed envelope. Eligibility for admission: 55% Marks in P.G.level. Request for application: Application can be obtained from the Registrar, Alagappa University, Karaikudi 630 003 on payment of the cost of Rs.500/- for SC/ST Rs.250/- on production of attested community certificate through a demand draft drawn in favour of the Registrar, Alagappa University, payable at Karaikudi.

-2Submission of applications The candidate should submit the filled in application form along with Rs.10/- stamped, self addressed envelope, to the Registrar, Alagappa University, Karaikudi during the office hours 10am5.45pm or by post. Selection Procedure Selection will be based on the marks obtained in the entrance examinations and qualifying degree. Selected candidates will be intimated by post. Queries regarding the receipt of application in this office will not be entertained. University is not responsible for any delay or loss by postal transit. Fees payment On grant of admission by the Head of the Department the candidate should remit the prescribed fees either the full year or semester for wise. Non payment of fees within specified time will lead to forfeiture of selection. Submission of Certificates The selected candidates have to submit the following Original Certificates at the time of admission. 1. Transfer Certificate 2. Conduct Certificate 3. Provisional Certificate/Grade Certificate/ Mark statement of qualifying degree 4. Two pass post size photographs 5. Medical fitness certificate 6. Community Certificate (for verification and return) Other University Students Students of other Universities should submit the Original Course Certificate/Pass Certificate/Provisional Certificate to obtain the recognition of Alagappa University through the Head of the Department of University. The admission will be provisional till the recognition is granted by the University. Substantiation of admission All admissions are only provisional upto verification of genuineness of the original certificates submitted by the candidates. If any one submitted any bogus certificates, the selection/ admission will be set aside and legal action will be taken against the candidate concerned. Rejection of application Incomplete application will be summarily rejected and no queries will be entertained. Hostels: 1. Separate Hostel facilities are available for Men and Women candidates. Admitted students have to contact the respective Hostel warden by producing their admission fee receipt and submit application. 2. Establishment Fees payable to the Hostel per annum is Rs. 8200/3.
