You can use get2Clouds on up to five devices at the same time as messages sync seamlessly across all devices. Use get2Clouds to securely send and receive messages, photos, videos and large files of any format and size, and to secure your data that rests in public clouds or on your network attached storage (NAS). Commented [W2]: For everyone? Like everybody should be using it?

Who is behind get2Clouds? get2Clouds is the brainchild of Oliver Wessling, a mechanical engineer, cyber security expert and CEO of NOS Microsystems—a tiny independent company with niche expertise in electronic software distribution, cloud services tools for all platforms and encrypted messaging. As a market leader in download management and compression technology, NOS Microsystems services over one billion downloads annually for client in the industrial automation industry. How secure is get2Clouds? In a word: very. Every message and piece of data sent through get2Clouds is secured with Advanced Encryption Standard 265 (AES-265). This is the most secure encryption method there is. If 50 supercomputers could check a trillion AES keys per second (no devices exist) it would still take trillions upon trillions of years for them to exhaust the 256-bit key space. It is the same encryption algorithm favored by the US government, the National Security Agency, and International Organization for Standardization (ISO)/International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) to protect classified information and national security systems. On top of that, get2Clouds sends all data via a secure socket layer (https) which is itself encrypted..

We deal in your privacy. We believe privacy is a basic human right and the foundation of all other rights. The world has made a seismic shift from analog to digital communications and storage. The convenience and benefits of this have been immense, but it has come at a very hefty personal privacy price. We strongly believe it protecting the right to privacy in the digital age and believe that communication should be free in every sense of the word. Then how do you make money? Choose to send to the receiver via email or get2Clouds. Fill in the details of your transfer; the name of the receiver, a message to include with the file. Click < Choose > to select the file you’d like to send. Press Start Upload to send the file. How can I send files totally anonymously? If you want to send information to someone such as a journalist or authority, and need to ensure your total anonymity, get2Clouds can help. First up, both you and your intended recipient need to have the get2Clouds app installed. Send a text or email address, or talk to them in person and ask them to download get2Clouds. If they already use get2Clouds it’s even easier, just make sure you have their contact stored on your device or on Windows. Change your profile name in the Messenger Settings and register a new 555 number so that you remain totally anonymous. Then, just send whatever files you need to via the File Transfer tab to the Contact. It is better to send via File Transfer rather than the messenger because the data will not be compressed. What phone permissions does get2Clouds app need? We do not use, sell or store any of your data. Any permissions we ask for are purely essential for the functionality to the app. If you want to use get2Clouds to send and receive appointments and invites, we need access to your calendar. The event will then be stored in your phone’s calendar so you don’t forget. If you want to know which of your contacts are also using get2Clouds we need access to your phone’s contacts to provide that function. We also need this if you want to send messages to contacts in your phone. Other than that we do not need any more permissions. What about the secret address book? If you do not wish for us to grant us access to your contacts, you can opt for a secret address book instead. Here, the app lets you store up to 50 numbers and you can send messages and files to them without granting access to your address book. What’s the difference between sending files in the messenger? Files sent over the get2Clouds messenger are shrunk using NOS Microsystems patented data compression technology. They can still be viewed on the receiver’s device, but if you want to keep files in their original size, you need to send via the File Transfer window. What’s with the 555 number? When you download get2Clouds you are automatically given a ‘555’ number. This is your unique get2Clodus ID. You can change it to a 555 of your choosing or use your SIM number. We recommend using your SIM number if you want contacts to know you are available on get2Clouds. If your number is stored on other users’ phones, they will see that you can be contacted via the app. For anonymity, we recommend using a 555 number. You can still give the number to friends and colleagues who use get2Clouds. When it is stored in their address book they can contact with you. Can I use the messenger on a tablet?

Yes. The 555 number option means you do not need to register your SIM number. The messenger works just as well on tablets and it is the only free messenger that works on SIM-less devices. With Secondary Profiles you can do this. You can chose to register two SIM numbers, two 555s or one of each. The numbers you attach to the profiles are completely up to you.
