The journals that available is hyperlinked to other online journal web directories host by the American Institute of Physics (AIP) and its Online Journal Publishing Service. 2. They has partnered with the American Institute of Physics (AIP) and its Online Journal Publishing Service (OJPS) to bring to the civil engineering community the advantages of electronic publishing. 4. Author The author of this web is ASCE & American Society of Civil Engineers. 5. Reputation ASCE is one of organization that has their journalist that has a lot of experienced in civil engineering. Their expert is highly respected. Their list includes more than 1,500 Standards, Manuals of Practice, Committee Reports, Proceedings, and ASCE Press titles. ASCE's 31 peer-reviewed journals, highly cited and highly respected, are the medium through which civil engineers exchange technical and professional knowledge. The Civil Engineering Database contains over 100,000 bibliographic and abstract records of everything ASCE has published since 1970. The ASCE Online Research Library is a comprehensive tool for locating online content across all disciplines of civil engineering. The 300,000-page Research Library contains the full text of more than 33,000 journal articles and proceedings papers, and can be accessed either through a current subscription or by downloading a single article. Approximately 4,000 new papers are added each year. 6. Timeliness In web page, recently a web page has been updated can affect its relevance. The information in the web was accurate because it last update is on 2009. 7. Content The ASCE online journal gateway pages have predictable layouts and fast-loading graphics but lack originality. The only unique design elements of each journal are the use of different colors for menus and the title banners. Graphic design is not just an aesthetic issue. Online resources need to have "identity" and navigation cues to provide a 2

mnemonic to the unique quality of the source. End-users particularly need design cues although not at the expense of long load times. Despite the minimal graphic identity of each journal, librarians and experienced researchers should have no problem distinguishing sources with the presentation provided.

8. Access To access this database user need to log in, in other to get the material that they need. It means the access for this database very limited. 9. Design and Layout This database use simple interface design made it to look professional and attractive same as their image as information provider. The arrangement of the database also well manages. The layout refers to the way tabs and channels are organized. This database was organized their tabs at left of the database and channels was very well organized. ASCE use color and images in for their database but not so many. For this database, there are five main colors; it is red, green, white, blue, and black. 10.Procedural/Technical

This element refers to HTML coding and resolution requirements and settings. The Web Standards and Guides are useful from a technical standpoint. There is no need to high requirement need for user to access this database.

11.Audience Their target audience is the student, researcher, and lecturer. 12.Navigational This database also was providing a various links in one page. Which is user does need to click in link that they want a go. 13.Search Engine This database did not provide any search engine in their front page of Web. Because of I cannot access it. It is not sure either this database it or not.
