18th February 2009 5AA Channel 7 Sarah Lucas Bushfire Relief Effort – Wayville Firstly a HUGE thank you to all of the volunteers who have both helped out at the relief collection point and generously donated items for the centre or money to the various appeals. Your generosity and compassion is unbelievable, and your personal contributions and support are to be commended. There are not enough ways for us to say thank you. Donations of food products (non-perishable), toiletries and new items are still being gratefully accepted. Volunteers are still needed for today (Wednesday) and Thursday 8am – 6pm; however, it is expected that the centre will close on Friday following the delivery of the remaining items. If you have a few hours spare, just enter the Wayville Showgrounds via Rose Terrace, and report to the volunteer sign-on desk inside the Stirling Angus Pavillion.
