VOLLEYBALL RULES AND REGULATIONS 1.
No smoking, drinking, or cursing inside the Winter Sports Complex.
2.
If children attend the games, they must be accompanied be an adult, at least 16 years or older, To take care of them and to see that they remain seated in the bleachers at ALL TIMES.
3.
If you eat or drink in the gym, use the litter receptacles provided to discard trash.
4.
Players must be at least 16 years of age, maximum of two no younger than 14 years old with parental consent. (Consent forms may be signed at the Parks and Recreation Office at 1135 W. Broadway)
5.
Roster limit:

A team must start five players at their scheduled starting time or forfeit the game. There will be no grace period. Co-ed must play with three men and three women, or they can play with two men and four women. (In case of injury: Any team may finish with five players, with side out for injured player.)
7.
A match will consist of three games to 25 or 15 minutes. A game must be won by at least two points. All teams should be ready to play before their scheduled game time.
8.
It is possible to forfeit the 1st game and still win the match. If enough players are available by the 2nd game after 15 minutes of grace, play will continue, if not, teams will be allowed to play until official starting time of the next set.
9.
Substitutions must begin after the lead off server’s first serve.
10.
There will be no free substitution, all players will enter on back row middle and exit after serving.
11.
Winter leagues will need all players with matching shirts with numbers.
12.
Players may only play with one team. (one per league division; however, players can play on one men/women’s team and also on one co-ed team)
13.
Any Team having to forfeit will have to pay a fee of $10.00 before their next game.
14.
PARKS AND RECREATION HAS THE RIGHT TO CHECK ROSTERS OR PLAYERS CARDS AT ANY TIME.

All players must purchase a player card, anyone who plays without a player card will be an ineligible player, and a player that plays with another team and is not on the roster is an illegal player. This will result in the player involved being suspended for (2) games for the (1st) violation. If the same person has a (2nd) violation it will result in a one year suspension from all Parks and Recreation activities. The team involved in this violation will forfeit the game and be required to pay a $10.00 forfeit fee before their next game.
