Vjo Vs. Wcan Dual Meet Memo (2009.05.22)

V ALLEJO A QUATIC C LU B 22 May 2009 Hello VJO!, Attached is a copy of the meet sheet for our Dual Meet against Wine Country Aquatics of Napa (WCAN) on Saturday 6 June. Warm-ups start at 8:00 a.m., competition at 9:00 a.m., and everything will be finished by 1:00 p.m. All members of VJO are strongly encouraged to enter and compete. This meet is free of cost to all current VJO swimmers. It’s not only a great team-building opportunity, but a chance for our newer swimmers to compete in short-course yards during long-course season. Parents—the meet is also a training opportunity for you, so please come down and learn how to perform one of the many jobs. Remember that meets are a vital fundraiser to our team: we raised almost $20,000 at our February meet!! To enter the meet, simply R.S.V.P. to Coach Aaron Jon via e-mail (see below) or by placing a note in Coach Aaron Jon’s folder on deck; any note will do, just include your athlete’s name(s). The coaches will enter you in your events for you, then place confirmation of entries in your folders. R.S.V.P.s are due by Wednesday 3 June. Questions?
