Marketing Plan

AVS is built on the assumption that the management of information technology for business is like legal advice, accounting, graphic arts, and other bodies of knowledge, in that it is not inherently a do-it-yourself prospect. Most businesses will need to find qualified and reliable virtualization experts for service, implementation, and support. AVS will serve its clients as a trusted ally, providing them with the loyalty of a business partner and the economics of an outside vendor. We make sure that our clients have what they need to run their businesses as well as possible, with maximum efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. Objectives •

Launch web site and demo by end of Q309.

Relationships – Obtain, retain, grow trusting relationships with customers

Earnings – Ensure earnings growth

Target Markets AVS will initially focus on the Small and Mid-to-Large businesses with a wiredworkforce in the local market, with special focus on those providing services in multiple locations. Future expansion include alternative virtualization solutions for all business segments both nationally and international. Target Market Segment Strategy We cannot survive just waiting for the customer to come to us. Instead, we must focus on the specific market segments whose needs match our offerings. Focus on targeted segments is the key to our future. Therefore, we need to focus our marketing message and our packaged solutions. We need to develop our message, communicate it, and make good on it. Competitive Forces Our target market may not be aware of the technology available to them, its benefits, and cost-savings over time. Many of continue with their technical debt without realizing that there is an option that provides greater value for their dollars. Research indicates that our target market consider price, but they would buy on quality service if the offering were positioned correctly. Price is the Page 6 of 10

message they're exposed to again and again; they have been trained to shop on price or cost-savings. We are in a very good position to provide such cost-savings with our virtualization solutions, with the added value of a trusted partner, and a relationship with a experienced vendor providing backup and quality service and support. Communications One of the best places to reach the target audience is through demos, word of mouth and SEO/SEM practices. Marketing strategies may include the following approaches: 

Use of PR such as mentions in newspapers and publications

Conference and trade show exposure

Print marketing

Direct mail marketing

Email marketing campaigns

Offering free demos and seminars to raise awareness and generate leads

Approaching web sites with free articles to publish

Keys to Success The main key to success with implementing virtualization solutions is making the services and marketing positioning clear. Word of mouth is critical. We will have to make sure that once we gain a customer, we continue to foster the relationship. To help accomplish this, we must work to reinvigorate relationships through successful database marketing. We must always remember to sell the company, not the service, as new technologies become available, we will continue to adapt and meet their needs. Sales Forecast by Markets Sales by market: Our most important market, by far, is the small business market. The sales forecast shown in the following table and chart is a superb reminder of why we need to focus on the specific target markets.
