Leadership Traits: 1. Represented dept. in centralized Paper Presentation handling committee for the National Technical Fest “Pleiades-09” organized by BVBCET. 2. One of the active members of registration committee for the 50th year celebration of Electrical and Electronics BVBCET. 3. Was an active co coordinator for the events “Distinguished Engineer and Trouble Shooter” organized by our Dept. in Pleiades-09 at BVBCET. 4. Project team leader of our project group during final year of engineering. 5. Class representative for 1st and 2nd P.U.C. Project: Title: “Mathematical modeling and Simulation of Shunt Active Power Filters.” Aim: To mitigate current harmonics and compensation of reactive power generated by a non linear load and to make source current in phase with source voltage. Description: One of the recent trends to effectively mitigate current harmonics and industry standard method on which currently research is going on along with implementation and this would be the most promising technology of future. Mathematical modeling of Shunt Active Power Filter (Both single phase and Three phase) using Matlab/Simulink is done with two control strategies in a detailed manner. Presentations: 1. Attended, presented a paper “Modelling and Simulation of Single Phase Shunt Active Power Filter” and won 1st prize in a state level paper presentation contest Techno scope under THINK 09 held at SDMCET Dharawad. 2. Attended, presented and won 1st prize in a state level paper presentation contest “AAVISHKAR-09” held at VDRIT Haliyal. 3. Attended, presented and won 2nd prize in a national level paper presentation contest “SPARK MANIA” held at DBIT Bangalore. 4. Attended an International Conference “Chemtech Pharma Biotech 2007” organized by Chemtech Foundation during 6-9 feb.2007 held at Mumbai. 5. Participated and presented a paper on “Nanotechnology-An overview” in Wiztec-2008 a State level technical Symposium held at GMIT Davangere.

6. Participated and presented a paper on “Facial Recognition-A new face of security” in Ortus-2008 a National level technical fest held at BVBCET Hubli. 7. Participated and presented a paper on “Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum” in Infomatrix-2008 a National level conference held at5 DBIT Bangalore. Others : 1. Participated in a state level Quiz contest organized by IMS held at JNMC Belgaum. 2. Presented a robot in an Inter-Dept. Robotics contest, “ROBOTIX” conducted in our college. 3.
