Vibration isolation Passive isolation: Passive vibration isolation systems consist essentially of a mass, spring and damper

Active isolation :

Active vibration isolation systems contain, along with the spring, a feedback circuit which consists of a piezoelectric accelerometer, a controller, and an electromagnetic transducer. The acceleration (vibration) signal is processed by a control circuit and amplifier. Then it feeds the electromagnetic actuator, which amplifies the signal. As a result of such a feedback system, a considerably stronger suppression of vibrations is achieved compared to ordinary damping.

Vibration- isolating device for reflection and absorption of waves of oscillatory energy, extending from the working gear or electrical equipment, with the aid of effect of vibration insulation. Vibration-isolator is established between a body transferring fluctuations and a body which defend (for example, between the gear and the foundation)

Kind of isolators: •

Vibration isolation bushings : This component lies between shafts and the housing to decrease the space between them to decrease the vibration

vibration isolation hanger : This component used to clamp two other

component

vibration isolation mounts : This component used to isolate the vibrated body from the surrounded area
