1 Organizational Values and Culture:

Organizational Values and Culture: Values: Basic convictions that a specific mode of conduct or end-state of existence is personality of socially preferable to an opposite or converse mode of conduct or endstate of existence.

Value system: A hierarchy based on a ranking of an individual’s values in terms of their intensity.

Terminal values: Desirable end-states of existence; the goals that person would like to achieve during his or her lifetime.

Instrumental values: Preferable modes of behavior or means of achieving one’s terminal values.

Organizational culture: A system of shared meaning held by members that distinguishes the organization from other organizations.

Cultural Values of HBL: HBL’s values are the fundamental principles that define its culture and are brought to life in its attitudes and behavior. It is company’s values that make its unique and unmistakable. Company values are defined below: •
