BCG (Bacillus CalmetteGuérin)

DPT (Diptheria, Pertusis, Tetanus)

Purpose

Form

Vaccine against Liquid tuberculosis. The BCG vaccine is 80% effective in preventing tuberculosis for duration of 15 years; however, its protective effect appears to vary according to geography.

Vaccines against three infectious diseases in humans: diphtheria, pertussis (whooping cough) and tetanus

This medication may cause irritation, redness, swelling, warmth, itching, bruising, pain and a hard lump at the injection site which lasts a few days up to a week.
