Layer of the pelvis that separates the deep perineal sac from the upper pelvis. Lying between the inferior fascia of the urogenital diaphragm and superior fascia of the urogenital diaphragm. Constituents Deep perineal muscles- sphincter urethrae & deep transverse perinei. Sup. & inf. Fascia of UGD.

Fascia is firmly attached to the IPR along the side of the UG triangle and to the posterior free margin of the urogenital diaphragm.
