Individual Research Paper (IRP) Urban Transport System-A Comparative Study of India & Pakistan

Statement of the Problem This research paper will examine analyze urban transport system and draw a conclusive comparative study of India & Pakistan urban transport system. The requirements along with existing problems will be examined for the urban transportation system of both countries. This paper will also carry out an assessment on the rate of growth of transport in correspondence to the socioeconomic of demographic changes taking place in the two countries. Volume of daily load: timings, categories of passengers & their cost affordability will also be analyzed. The paper will scan models, currently, operational in developed countries and to see whether the same can be implemented in India & Pakistan replacing or adding to their available strengths. The research paper will arrive at conclusion with sets of recommendation for future improvements through public private partnership with regards to present urban transport set up in India & Pakistan
