Class: Spanish 6 Chapter: Paso a Paso Ch. 5 Covers:  Childhood toy vocabulary  Continues to practice the preterit and imperfect tense  Adjectives for children to talk about what the students were like as kids

Language Objectives:  Teach students to better navigate and use the preterit and the imperfect tense  Teach students to talk about what they were like as children, and what they used to do  Teach students vocabulary for the things that they played with as children

Content Objectives:  Students will do a “Show and Tell” presentation where they bring in their favorite toy from when they were little and they will present it to the class in Spanish.  Students will create a timeline of their lives. They will incorporate things that they did once, things that they used to do, and things that were happening in the world during their lifetime.  Students will learn to discuss their childhoods using appropriate vocabulary and verb tenses.

Other Objectives:  Use more target language through the use of the “Solo español” sign  Call more parents for both good and bad
