FOREWORD AND GRATITUDE. SHREE. We believe any new activity should commence with word “Shree”. It denotes an auspicious start. I have often felt that everybody on this earth could be more happy and peaceful than what they are at present. They could lead a more fulfilled life. Could there be a formula, a kriya (a process) that could realize this dream? I am inclined to believe that there is such a formula. This book is an effort to present to you this magic formula for success, which if employed diligently will be instrumental in manifesting more joy, more abundance and more happiness in everybody’s life. Success to me is not only becoming rich, but also leading a fulfilled life, full of joy, happiness and a state of being where you would have realized your true potential.

INTRODUCTION BY DR. VIJAY GOSAVI. 30th March 2006. (Gudhi Padwa.Varsha Pratipada.) It is said that “Small is beautiful”. This small book written by my friend, Mr. Jayant Naik is just that. I am really fortunate to be able to write these few words of introduction to this book, first of its kind and very interestingly presented by way of small parables. Everybody wants to realize his or her dreams. One is always striving to become happy by realizing all the dreams. In this small book, Jayant has made a successful attempt to present a “Magic Formula” for dream realization and an ultimate success that one is seeking. After going through this book, I as a management student asked Jayant only one question. “ Has this formula or Hypothesis been tested? Have you realized all your dreams?” “ There is no such thing as realizing all your dreams! New dreams will spring up the moment you realize one dream. The formula has definitely helped me in realizing my dreams. But the journey has just commenced. The Formula has definitely helped me in enjoying the journey also.” Jayant replied. I fully endorse what Jayant has said about this Magic Formula working with certain ethics. Our great Mahatma has said, “Politics without Principles, Knowledge without Character, Commerce without Morality, Science without humanity and Worship without Humility is futile.” I feel if your dreams are not directed towards harming anybody and are targeted at benefits of the Humanity as a whole, there is no reason why they should not be fulfilled. These dreams should be “Kalyankari”(Beneficial to all.) I have personally experienced that if your dream arises from deep within and the desire is always kindled with Vision and Efforts, the realization is almost automatic. I am once again tempted to remind you of parable of the bicycle of Anirudha. Think on this, experiment with it and benefit from it. I have no doubt in my mind that this book will enlighten your path of dream realization. Simply believe that “If you give best to the world, only best will come back to you.” That is what the Parable of Falcon is telling us. Make Efforts with complete synchronization of body, mind and intellect. That is what the SADHANA is. The words SANKALPA and SADHANA have to be understood in the correct perspective. I feel Jayant has given a new meaning to the concept of ” Create a Vision, plan your work and work out your plan.” I extend my best luck to all of you and to this book. Dr. Vijay Gosavi. CHAPTER 1. BEGINNING OF THE JOURNEY. GUIDING LIGHT. It was a very cool and silent night. I was in a deep sleep. Suddenly for no reason I woke up. I looked at the watch beside my bed. It was 3.30am. I started thinking about why I was awake. There seemed to be no reason at all. No sound to disturb me. No disturbing dream which could have awakened me. Then my thoughts drifted. As usual I started thinking about the “Magic Formula for Success”. I knew there has to be something, which I have missed or people are missing. Why everybody is not realizing his or her dream? I must have been thinking like this for at least an hour. Suddenly I heard a light sound. As if somebody is opening a cork bottle. The room was filled with a very bright light. I had to close my eyes involuntarily. It was so bright. It was not like any electric light. It resembled a flame of a candle but, many times brighter. As I closed my eyes, I could see the light filtering itself into my mind, my being. I could feel, it communicating with me. No words were uttered literally but the communication was there. “Why do you want to know about the formula?” It seemed as if the light was speaking to me. “ You have enough in your life.” It said. I mentally bowed in front of the light and asked, “ Who are you? Why are you here?”

“ I am you and you are me. I am everything. I am here to show the path. “ The light responded. I do not know how to write this. There was no written or verbal response. I felt as if the answer seeping in me. But for simplicity I will use the words, which are useful to us in understanding. “ I want to know the Magic Formula FOR THE SAKE OF PEOPLE WHO TRULY AND REALLY REQUIRE IT. I feel the misery and unhappiness around could be completely removed if we know how to achieve our dreams. I feel it is my destiny to search and find. I have enough, but I want to share this knowledge with everybody, so that they can be happy. Please guide me.” I pleaded with my heart. “ People are mistaken when they feel the cause for their misery and unhappiness is lack of money or wealth. Otherwise all rich people would be very happy and peaceful.” The light said. “ Then why are they unhappy and miserable? Can the cause be removed?” I was pleading. “Everybody in this universe is unique as such the cause for his or her unhappiness is unique. Some suffering is essential for the human soul as it enriches him. It helps in his evolution towards a better human being.” I got the response. “ It means my search for magic formula is futile. There is no such thing?” I was feeling foolish. “There is my son. If you look at all suffering and pain as a means to achieve your potential or greater happiness then there is no pain or suffering. However only some people realize it. ” The light said.

“ But I see that not everybody realizes his dream. They do not have enough money to live life happily and peacefully. Their basic needs are also not met. What can they do to live happily by realizing their dreams? Can you show me the path? Can it be used to at least minimize the unhappiness or sufferings of human beings?” I was seeing some hope now. “ I can only give you, some pointers and you as well as everybody has to find the Formula for himself. Remember that the choice to act or not to act is given to you and everybody. Everybody is unique and should live his own life. I am here to show the path towards the realization of the true potential of every human being.” “How will I know these pointers?” I said. “For next THREE days, I will tell you THREE stories. You must interpret them and find your path for yourself and discover the formula that can help in realizing one’s dreams and true potential. The light said. “But why not tell me the formula directly? Why this roundabout way?” I was curious. “Because some things are not possible to be said! And even if they are said, they are not sufficient. These things can only be shown. If you see a beautiful sunset, your description to somebody about the beauty is so insufficient! You can only take a picture and show. That also will be only a second best solution. The only thing you can do is to bring that person and show him the beauty of sunset! “ I was explained. “ Can you tell me the essence of this formula? What is the basis? I and all others will be able to understand the parables better if they know this.’ I said.

“Everything in this Universe is manifestation of Energy.” “Nothing can be destroyed in this Universe, we can only convert it. As such all creation is only conversion.” “The Universe is Complete. You cannot add anything to it. Nor you can subtract anything from it.”

The Light responded. “I am confused by these statements.” I said. “ You see son, it only means this,-“ WHATEVER YOU DESIRE OR SEEK IS ALREADY PRESENT IN THE UNIVERSE. YOU ONLY NEED TO DEVELOP ABILITY TO ATTRACT THAT INTO YOUR LIFE.” The light responded. “But how does one develop this ability?” I asked. “That is why I am here. To guide you, so that you can guide others.” The Light commented. I detected a hint of smile also. “ Be my Guru! Oh, all pervading light, so that I can guide others.” I said. “ TATHASTU (Let it be like that) the light said.

CHAPTER 2. WHY ARE WE SEEKING THIS MAGIC FORMULA? Pretty stupid question to ask is it not? May be. May be not. I have always found out that if you want right answers then you should ask right questions. Do you really want a formula? Let us say a tree, which can grant all of your wishes. Do you really want to be in a position of Midas? Everything he touched was converted to Gold. His food, his water, his daughter also. Do you really want to be like Alexander, the Great, who conquered the world and started weeping feeling that there is nothing to conquer? What are the dreams you want to be realized and what you do not want? What this Magic Formula should do? This question is also important because of the fact that we should be able to confirm that we have really got the magic formula. You could say that, you would like to own a beautiful blue coloured BMW car. You are sure that is what you want it. After 2/3 months also you want it by same intense feelings. If you employ the formula which I am sure you will discover in this book and you realize your above dream, I would say you have discovered the magic formula. Would you agree? I am sure, you will. However you just concluded a very severe fight with your very dear and near friend and in a fit of anger you feel, let his business be doomed!

I am sure you really do not mean it. You do not want the Magic Formula to work on this desire, you made in a fit of anger. So in effect the formula, which we will discover through this journey, will have to work selectively only. The greater interest of entire humanity in general and your long-term interest in particular will have to be kept in view. According to my understanding the formula for dream realization follows certain principles. Here they are. 1.0 Principle of Universal Benefit. It should fulfill all desires, which are ultimately beneficial to you and are not directed at harming anybody, including yourself or anything. (Strict no- no for, I want to kill somebody, or I want to destroy this building etc.)The purpose for which you are seeking anything is very important. This is the foundation from which everything will start flowing. Call it a seed. 2.0 Principle of Consistency. It should only fulfill all desires, which are well thought out, and you are determined to pursue them. (Not like today you want to become a Pilot and tomorrow a cricketer.) 3.0 Principle of Reasonableness. The desire should be humanly possible, during the lifetime of the person desiring it. (Not something like, I want to own a house on Mars.)

PART A.SANKALPA AND SADHANA– YOU DECIDE ,YOU COMMIT, YOU EXPERIENCE AND YOU CLAIM

CHAPTER 3 THE DAY 1.THE BEGINNING. The next day came and I was very much excited. I was waiting for the night. I could not sleep for the whole night and eagerly waited for the first signal from the light. At about 4.40 in the morning, I could see the presence of the same bright light. I bowed in front of it. Listen and learn from this story. I was told. “This story relates to Mr. Jamshetji Tata. India was ruled by British those days. He took some foreigners to a Hotel Called Majestic for a dinner. They all reached the gate and started entering the Hotel. Mr. Tata was denied the entry in to the Hotel. Indians are not allowed in the Hotel. !He was very rudely told. Here was a budding industrialist wanting to entertain some foreign guests and was denied the entry. He resolved there and then, that he would one day create a better Hotel than this, where the entry would not be restricted to any body based on caste or race. The seed for Taj Hotel was sown at that time.” The light re kindled this story in my mind and vanished. I am sure you must have also be aware of this story.

What is the message in this? I am sure ,before Mr. Jamshetji Tata ,lot of Indians must have been denied entry in the Hotel. Lot of Indians would not have even ventured to go near the Hotel. They all also must have felt humiliated by this treatment. It is only Mr. Tata ,who resolved to create a Hotel of his own. Taj Group Of Hotels is a reality now. Spanning all over the world. Why did all those who were rejected entry in that Hotel did not create a Hotel like Taj? I think the resolve by Mr. Tata to create a Hotel of the standard of Majestic is the basis of creation of Taj Hotel. Unless the person wished or desired to create something and then took action accordingly, there is no chance that he could create something.. My friends, could you see some light in this?

CHAPTER 4 DAY 2 EXPERIENCE THE DREAM REALIZATION. That day after I received the first story , I was thinking as to why then every desire is not fulfilled. 

Lot of people plan and have a desire to do regular exercise,



want to win in a share market,



want to start business and earn money ,



want to develop relationship with certain man or women or ,



want to abandon a habit of smoking or procrastination.

Why they are not successful? Is it not a desire? If the desire is there, then surly the Person wants that thing to happen. Then why there is no materialization of that desire? The whole day I was busy thinking about it. I was rest less and irritating to everybody. As usual at about 4.30 in the morning ,the light as promised gave me another parable in the morning. ” Anirudha a bubbling boy of 10 years was after his father to purchase him a bicycle. On every opportunity he would ask his father ‘ Oh, Papa, when will I get a bicycle?’ He was also after his mother to persuade his father to give him a bicycle. His father always used to say, ‘ Yes, I will give you your bicycle at the right time.’ At last on one day, Anirudha got the good news.

‘Anirudha, You will get your bicycle tomorrow. Tomorrow is your birthday, so you will get it as a present from us, me and your mother!’ Father said. The next morning Anirudha woke early in the morning and went running out on the porch of his house. Sure enough, there was a gleaming new bicycle, waiting for him. He went eagerly to it and found that it was locked. He turned to his father who was standing near the bicycle smiling. ‘Oh Papa, thank you so much! But where is the key?’ He asked. ‘ Yes, Key! Look Anirudha, in life nothing comes without efforts. You have to do some efforts to get the keys.’ His father said with a mischievous smile. ‘ Tell me, what I have to do and I will do it immediately! ‘Anirudha said. ‘ It is very simple. In our garden in front of our house I have hidden a box, in which the key is kept. All you have to do is to find the box and take the key!’ His father said. ‘But papa, how I am to know where it is?’ ‘ Very simple! I have planted some clues also. The clues are in black boxes. In each box there is a clue for finding the next box. In the last box there is your key. I will give you the first clue. The first box is under a tree which is a favorite tree of your mother!’ Father said with a smile. ‘ But how many boxes are there?’ Anirudha was getting exited, as he liked the game. ‘ That I cannot tell you! , But the point is, if you find the box with the key in the first instance only, then you need not go through the clues given by me. So you have to either go through the clues which I have planted or find the box with key without bothering about other boxes.’ Father said.

‘ I will go through the clues planted by you as I am sure to find the key that way. But I will keep my eyes open for the box with the key also! If I find it, I will be happy! Other wise, as it is I will be following your clues!’ Father smiled at the smartness of his son. ‘Start!’ Father said. He could now see, Anirudha directly going to the mango tree, which was a favorite of his mother. After some time of searching he found a black box with a clue. He looked inside, took a small paper out of the box and thought about it. After sometime, Anirudha went to a small pond, put his hand in the water, and took out the next box. He waived at his father and opened it. This process went on for sometime. At one point he was confused and looked for guidance at his father. His father waived him on, indicating that he is on the right path. This went on for some time. His father could see that Anirudha was exhausted, so after some time, he called him, ‘ Anirudha, come here. Take this fruit juice, which your mother has prepared for you!’ ‘I am busy, Papa’ Anirudha said, from the spot where he was furiously digging in the soil. ‘Ok, I will come there!’ His father said, and went with the juice to Anirudha and gave it to him. Anirudha drank it gratefully. After some time, Anirudha stopped digging as, he could not find the box there. It was already ten in the morning and the heat was increasing. He was perspiring and confused. He then went to his father, sat beside him, and said.

‘ I know Papa the box has to be there only! I have understood the clue correctly. But I cannot find it! I think I am lost. What am I to do now Papa?’ His father put his hand around his shoulder, drew him near to hug him, and said, ‘ Think. Anirudha!

Think. The solution always comes through thinking. Words

sometimes have two meanings! Do not feel defeated! I want you to have that key, so that you can enjoy the bicycle ride! Think and search! You are very near to it!’ ‘ Do not tell me now, Papa! I will have to find the key myself!’ Anirudha said with determination. Just sitting with his father and feeling his love for him had recharged him. He again started the search and, sure enough found the key after some more search. He came running to his father and showed him the key and said triumphantly ‘I found it Papa! I found it!’ ‘ I am glad, my son! Go enjoy your ride on the cycle.’ His father said proudly. Anirudha went running towards his bicycle and suddenly stopped and tuned back to his father. ‘I am confused Papa! Why this game of hides and seeks? I know you had purchased the bicycle for me! Why not just give the key to me?’ ‘I am glad you asked that question! Have you enjoyed the game?” His father asked. ‘ Yes, very much! But I also felt that you are unnecessarily delaying the moment of giving me the bicycle! I felt offended also.’ Anirudha said. ‘You may think like that now! But you see, you have enjoyed the game also! You see son! You should enjoy the journey as much as the destination!’

His father said and smiled.” The story was over. I was touched with the simplicity of the parable and the message. I invite you to search for the message in this. There are many. However, what I could see is mainly this. Anirudha was ready to receive the bicycle and his father was ready to give the bicycle. The bicycle was waiting to be claimed. THIS IS NOTHING BUT YOUR DREAM BECOMING YOUR DESTINY. YOUR DREAM HAS ALREADY BECOME YOUR DESTINY. YOU HAVE TO ONLY UNCOVER IT.

CHAPTER 5 DAY 3. SADHANA- UNCOVER YOUR DREAM AND CLAIM IT. I was now getting excited as I had a feeling that I am in the final stages of getting the TOTAL PICTURE. I received following parable from the Light the next morning. “On a very hot afternoon a Falcon is silently floating in the sky. A great valley is spread below him. He could see a vast spread of barren land and some bushes and scrubs on the ground below. He is hungry and is looking for some prey. From the distance in the sky his sharp eyes are scanning the ground below. He is waiting to note some small movement on the ground. He is completely relaxed and floating in very easy circles. He has caught many large rats here in the past and he is sure to catch one today. His eyes are focused on the ground. Suddenly in the corner of his eyes he catches some movement. He slowly circles around the movement. He sizes the situation for a fraction of a second. Suddenly he darts. One sees only a blur of a straight line darting below. The prey has no chance. The Falcon springs on him and catches that large rat in his paws. He then slowly goes up and moves towards a tree to feast. His sudden jump on the pray is so fast and accurate that, one can only marvel at the speed and accuracy of his activity.” What can you see in this, my friends?

I realized that the messages form light are in

fact now in the form of a picture. I thought about this for quite some time and suddenly realized.

The entire activity was done in a fraction of a second. It is not possible to do this without complete coordination of thought from the mind, message from intellect to body and subsequent actions from the body. This is what SADHANA is! “ Sadhana” is thus complete merging, for achieving a purpose, of mind, intellect and body. If there is “ Sankalpa” and “ Sadhana” the manifestation OF YOUR DREAM, is just a matter of time. The dream has to be only uncovered and Claimed.

PART B- USING THE MAGIC FORMULA. CHAPTER 6 MAGIC FORMULA! You will definitely say now, “So far so good! We have understood the way it should be! We know what should happen if I have to realize my dreams! But the point is how should I make it happen? How I should ensure that it happens?” Where is the Magic Formula? Fair question! But don’t you see that that is all I have been trying to show you?

The Formula or the Key according me has two aspects. 1.0 The Key itself. The Key is the “Sankalpa”. 2.0 The turning of the key in the lock by you. This is ‘Sadhana’. The formula is – SANKALPA (YOU DECIDE AND COMMIT.)+SADHANA (EFFORTS BY BODY, MIND AND INTELLECT.)

CHAPTER 7 HELP DURING YOUR JOURNEY. SHIDORI.“Shidori” is a word in Marathi language. When you are about to commence any journey, your mother would give you some food you could use during the journey. This would be wrapped up in a small piece of cloth. That is called ‘Shidori” We have a saying that, we should carry with us some “Shidori” even if there may not be any hunger, consequently the need for the food. This final food for thought is nothing but that. You may not need it, but if you do, then it will be handy. I strongly feel every human endeavor should result in increasing the happiness of human beings. It should not attempt to cater to the needs of only chosen few. That is why I am sharing the results of my own journey with you. The path, you all have treaded with me thus far becomes an individual journey from now on. It is a beginning of searching for your own path towards more wealth, more happiness, better health or better relationships, whatever is that you truly and sincerely desire. Or for that matter all of these aspects taken together. Make Experiment and Learn. As I said in the beginning of the book, I may not be able to give you the Magic Formula in so many words because; the words are insufficient to describe it. I have tried to show you how to discover it by sharing with you the path, which I have taken. You may ask me, whether you will be able to realize your dream; each time you use the formula?

My answer is, if you attain proficiency in using this formula you must realize all your dreams. However the filters of principles stated in Chapter 2 would be applied. The process is science but its application is more like an art. It may look simple but it requires lot of practice and patience in its application. The Formula I am presenting here is just that. A formula. It has to be applied in your life by you only. Start with small things, get experience and proficiency in the application of this formula and then proceed with this for larger things in your life. Start with the conviction and everything else will fall in place. Is it so simple? You might ask. I repeat. It is an art. It looks simple but is difficult to practice. The Guiding Light was compassionate enough to show us the path till now. You are on your own now. I am sure by one way or the other, the light will keep on guiding you also, if you seek it in your own mind. I am always there to help you. Do not try to take my word for it. Find it out for yourself. The path is there. You need only to walk on it. Each failure you may face in this journey is nothing but a clue to change your path and renew your search for the key to your own bicycle. The bicycle of your dreams is waiting for you.
