Defined as : 

Consultant Consultee

Client-Centred Case Consultation 

Major focus : 



Problems encountered by consultee in dealing with the case

Help find the most effective treatment

Focus  



On consultee rather than the client Assess the nature of consultee’s work difficulties and help to handle it

Help consultee gain mastery of the issue by 

Program-Centred Administrative Consultation 

Make specialised assessment of current program or policy predicament

Recommend a plan of action to resolve the difficulty

Consultees – a group/individual administrator to improve functioning
