Needed: 1 skien of Aslantrends, Class, Color: 2969 (55% Cotton and 45% Viscose. Approx. 240 yards/22 meters). Size 8 knitting needles

Special stitch: sl2-k1-p2sso: slip 2 sts as if to purl, k1 st, then pass the two slip sts over the knit st (I slip and pass one stitch at a time). Cast on 39 sts and knit the first 5 Rows. Stockinette st. for the next 15 rows, keeping the first 5 sts and last 5 sts of every row knitted.

Next Row K15 Continue the Stockinette st., keeping the first and last 5 sts. knitted for 12". Ending with a Purled row. Next Row Cast on 12 sts (use any cast on method of your choice), knit 15 sts, cast on 12 sts. Continue Stockinette st. until piece measures 12" from the cast on, last row is a knitted row.
