Introduction

 Transport or Transportation is the movement of people and goods from one location to another.  Humans first means of transport were walking.  The domestication of animals introduced a new way to lay the burden of transport.  Inventions such as the wheel and sled helped make animal transport more efficient through the introduction of vehicles.   Slowly and steadily this led to discovery of new modes of transport too, and the rest is known to the world today.  The Industrial Revolution in the 19th century saw a number of inventions fundamentally change transport.
