Trade unions A trade union is a formal association of workers that promotes and protects the interests of its members through collective actions. Any combination whether temporary or permanent formed for the purpose of regulating the regulations between workers and employers, or for imposing restrictive conditions on the conduct of any trade or business and includes any federation of two or more unions.
