TOURISM CIRCUIT 1. Aquino Diokno Shrine The Aquino–Diokno Shrine is a memorial dedicated to senators Benigno C. Aquino and Jose W. Diokno who were imprisoned in the camp under chargers of subversion during Martial Law. Visitors could tour the facility for free and it also offers a free audio and video presentation to visitors. 2. Soldiers Mall This facility demonstrates the genuine concern of the leadership of the Philippine Army and the 7th Infantry (Kaugnay) Division in providing quality food and recreational facilities for the wellbeing of the Army troopers, as well as their dependents and guests. It is a tribute to their unwavering services as true defenders of our freedom and democracy. The Center also offers souvenirs and other native products at comparably low prices. 3. Bowling Center For fun and leisure, 7ID also offers the bowling center where visitors and guest may enjoy the amusing bowling actions, billiards and darts at the Bowling Center of Fort Magsaysay Bowling – Php ______per game Billiards – Php ______per game/per hour Darts – Php ________per game 4. Division Chapel This chapel in Fort Magsaysay commemorates the feast of St. Joseph the Worker on 01 May 1976. Most Reverend Mariano G Gaviola, Military Vicar of the Philippine Army, together with the concelebrants, the Military Chaplains of the AFP, have proclaimed and installed St. Joseph as the Patron Saint of the Parish. The chapel is open to all Catholic devotees and religious followers within Fort Magsaysay 5. 7ID Covered Court The 7ID covered court is open to all groups. It can be used for basketball and volleyball games.

6. Pahingahan Complex/Dam and Function Hall The Pahingahan Complex/Dam is a man-made mini-dam and a key attraction of the camp. It offers breathtaking scenery of natural rainforest and huge lake.

Picnics, fishing, photo shoot and team building activity can be accommodated in the area. The Pahingahan Multi-Function Hall. ("Pahingahan" is a Filipino word for "a place of rest.") The R&R facility is located on the shores of a man-made lake in the base. Soldiers and tourists can also enjoy kayaking and hiking in the nearby trails. It can accommodate 200 pax and caters to different activities such as socials, birthdays, weddings, team buildings and other private occasions. Day Rate: Php 10,000.00 Night Rate: Php 5,000.00 7. Mt Taclang Damulag Taklang Damulag is a name of a mountain that is located at the eastern part of the cantonment area of Fort Magsaysay. Taklang Damulag and its surroundings has always been the "playground" of the Special Forces Regiment, Philippine Army. The words "taklang damulag" are in the native dialect of the people from Pampanga, a province in Central Luzon in the Philippines. It is simply translated as "water buffalo crap/shit". By looking at its size and formation, the early people in the place who named it gave the exact name of said mountain. This attractive foothill is open for trekkers and civilian climbers who wants to see the magnificent scenery of Fort Magsaysay Military Reservation 8. Firing Range For those who love the thrill of firing, the 7ID Firing range offers experienced Range Officers that will assist and teach visitors on the proper handling and use of firearms. Civilian shooters are welcome to shoot in the range but would have to bring their individual firearms and ammunitions. 9. Swimming Pool “Batis” A stream of fresh water frequently visited by early Novo Ecijanos for a variety of pleasurable chores. The 7ID swimming pool is approximately five (5) feet deep and has a length of 25 meters. The facility is open from 9am– 9pm Kaugnay Troopers are free to chill out in the pool surrounded by a verdant scenery. For civilians, a reasonable price is charged. Entrance – Php 50.00/head Cottage – Php 100.00 10. Golf Club The Kaugnay Division boasts of an 9-Hole Golf Course and a Golf Driving range at the heart of the 7ID Headquarters. Golf enthusiasts are welcome to play in the course with minimal green fee of P200.00 Caddie fee of P150.00 P20.00 pesos per bucket is charged in the driving range.

11. 7ID Grandstand The parade ground is dedicated to the memory of MGEN RAFAEL G ZAGALA AFP, Commanding General, Philippine Army from 16 January 1972 – 27 March 1976 and Commanding General, 1 st Infantry (Tabak) Division, Philippine Army from 06 February 1970-23 March 1976, in recognition of his invaluable services and great sacrifices for the interest of Fort Magsaysay, the Philippine Army and the Filipino People. The facility could be availed for lectures and ceremonies free of charge 12. Kaugnay Clubhouse and Wellness Gym The Kaugnay Clubhouse and Wellness Gym is an events place and a sports wellness complex renovated as a venue for all Kaugnay Troopers who are encouraged to practice a healthy lifestyle. Within the Clubhouse are two gyms that caters to the men and women of the Command, a function hall, and an Officers’ Lounge. 13. Heroes’ Memorial The Heroes’ Memorial is dedicated to the heroes within the Command’s Area of Responsibility and of the 7th Infantry Kaugnay Division, as a fitting tribute and recognition of their gallantry and courage in fighting for the freedom of our country - Free of Charges 14. 15. 16. 17. 18. 19. 20. 21.
