I’m a director who has written, directed, produced and designed world-class CGI sequences for a major international science documentary. Strong ob-doc background: I have directed and self-shot on hundreds of shoots all over Europe, Scandinavia and the USA. Experienced crew director and edit producer. A highly proficient HD cameraman. I have shot and lit HD drama reconstructions. Versatile and skilled illustrator/digital artist with experience of producing story boards, concept art and animatics.

I developed, shot and cut a pilot for a high profile Swedish documentary about an English charity. September ’08 / May ‘09 - CGI PRODUCER / DIRECTOR, EDIT PRODUCER,

HD LIGHTING CAMERAMAN A JOURNEY UNDER YOUR SKIN (Working title) (2 x 1hr. UR/EBU/SWR. Agaton Films, Sweden. Full HD) An international science documentary in which the world famous photographer, Lennart Nilsson investigates the extraordinary internal world of our cells. - I researched, wrote and directed 16 mins of full CGI - sequences, that take the viewer inside the micro-universe of the cell. I oversaw every stage of production of the CGI by Jellyfish pictures, London. - Drew all concept art and story-boards. - Art directed and coloured Lennart Nilsson’s photographs. - Edit-produced the first six weeks of the edit. - One of the main lighting cameramen, shooting on the Panasonic P2 HD camera.

September/December 2008 – HD LIGHTING CAMERAMAN

TIME CAPSULE (Swedish title: Tidskapseln) (1 x 1hr. SVT. Agaton Films, Sweden. Full HD) An archaeological documentary about a 17th century shipwreck in the Swedish archipelago. I worked as an HD cameraman, shooting with the Panasonic P2 HD camera. It was a combination of ob-doc shooting and period drama reconstructions showing life on-board a 17th century boat. I shot and lit these in full HD. March/September 2008 - LOCATION DIRECTOR

BEST HOUSE ON THE STREET (6 x 1hr. Channel Five. Red house) A new kind of property show for Five, featuring ob-doc and studio sequences, allowing people to recreate their homes, life size in the studio. I location directed and self-shot three shows for the series and floor-managed the complex studio shoots. February 2008 – PRODUCER / DIRECTOR

COLEEN’S REAL WOMEN (8 x 1hr. ITV. Endemol UK) An exciting lifestyle show, following Coleen Mcloughlin’s mission to get normal British women into advertising campaigns. I took care of contributor back-stories and large, logistically demanding castings with Coleen, around the UK, Europe and America - I either self shot or directed a Digi crew. I directed shoots with the presenter and Digi crew, scripted PTCs and voice over, directed DV sequences, re-cut the original show and my newly shot footage. June ‘06/June ‘07 - LOCATION DIRECTOR

BUILD A NEW LIFE IN THE COUNTRY (Series Three. 1 x 1hr. Channel Five. Shine Television) Five’s flagship, ob-doc property show. For a year I produced the show, shot and directed location DV shoots. For the final ‘reveal’ shoots, I produced and directed the presenter, wrote PTCs, directed the Digi and Jib crews.

SKILLS Camera:

Highly experienced and proficient self shooter in either standard or HD. Can use: Sony DSR 500, Sony Z1, Panasonic PR2 HD, Cannon EOS HD. Lighting: Trained and experienced in lighting for Standard def or HD shooting. Edit: Experienced Final Cut Pro editor. Illustration: Versatile and skilled illustrator, with experience of creating story boards, concept art, animatics and sequential art. Digital image: In addition to traditional illustration skills, I am highly proficient at using Photoshop and working with a WACOM tablet.

INTERESTS
