Ejemplo:

∆ indicates physical, emotional or mental change, always followed by an adjective

2) hacerse

Ejemplo:

∆ to become something as a result of efforts or desires

Mi hermano se hizo bombero para ayudar a las familias durante las emergencies.

∆ may be followed by a noun or adjective

My brother became a firefighter to help families during emergencies.

3) llegar a ser

Ejemplo:

∆ to become something after a lengthy process

Después de muchos años de trabajar muy duro, yo llegué a ser Presidente de Apple Corporation.

∆ usually followed by a noun

After many years of working very hard, I became President of Apple Corporation.

4) convertirse en

Ejemplo:

∆ to turn into, or to change into (usually a physical change)

El gusano verde y feo se convirtió en una mariposa bella y colorada.

∆ most often followed by a noun.

The green, ugly worm turned into a beautiful, colored butterfly.
